Timing restrictions apply to logging truck traffic on County Road 409. On the paved portion of County Road 409, logging trucks may only travel between 6 am and 6pm. To avoid school traffic during the school year, logging traffic may not use the paved section of County Road 409 from 8:30-9:30 am and 12:30-1:00 pm, Monday thru Friday and 3:00-4:00 pm, Monday thru Thursday. On the unpaved portion of County Road 409, logging trucks traffic is limited to 15 mph between Memorial Day and Labor Day, hauling is limited to Monday thru Friday. Additional restrictions for Marbled Murrelet (MAMU) for log hauling along County Road 409 are described below and in THP 1-16-124 MEN, Section II, Item 32.

  • Paid Holidays – Long Weekends (a) When an employee is scheduled to work a weekend where a paid holiday falls on the Monday or the Friday, the Employer shall endeavour to also schedule the employee to work the paid holiday.

  • GENERAL WORKING CONDITIONS The District has empowered school communities to make decisions at the school level in return for accountability for results. To maximize the likelihood of success, each school must be permitted to implement programs that meet the needs of its students and community. Through a school-based decision-making process, each school will define the staff working conditions necessary for student success. School leadership teams will create and publish annual “school operational plans” which will outline working conditions of staff in the building. Such operational plans will be subject to the Superintendent’s review and approval.

  • Safe Working Conditions The Employer undertakes to maintain office furniture, equipment, etc., in a practical and safe condition in order to avoid injury to employees or damage to their attire. Employees, for their part and in their own interest, are expected to advise the Employer of any such potentially injurious equipment.

  • Compensation for Holidays Falling Within Vacation Schedule If a paid holiday falls on or is observed during an Employee's vacation period, she shall be allowed an additional vacation day with pay at a time mutually agreed upon by the Employer and the Employee.

  • Unsafe Working Conditions (a) No Employee shall be disciplined for refusal to work on a job which is deemed unsafe by:

  • Sunday Work Employees required to work overtime on Sundays shall be paid for a minimum of three hours work at double time. The double time is to be paid until the employee is relieved from duty.
