Prisoner Transport. It is agreed that two employees shall be assigned to the duties of transporting prisoners outside of the Municipality.
Prisoner Transport. A. The City shall establish a list of interested and qualified Employees who would like to transport prisoners on July 1, 2007 and every January 1 thereafter. The Department shall set up the list by Department Seniority and selection for prisoner transport assignments shall be by rotation. B. In an emergency situation, the parties agree and understand that it may be necessary to call Employees out of the normal rotation. C. Nothing in this Section precludes Employees outside the bargaining unit from conducting prisoner transports.
Prisoner Transport. No officer should transport a prisoner in a one-man unit if he cannot reasonably expect to complete such transport without any problem from the prisoner. No officer shall be ordered to transport a prisoner in a one-man unit without that officer's concurrence that he reasonably expects that he can complete such transport without any problem from the prisoner.
Prisoner Transport. Prisoner transport as used in this article refers to the transportation of person(s) in custody out of the county to or from medical or psychological facilities, state institutions, other courts, other counties, and medical, dental or psychological appointments. This does not include the transportation of person(s) in custody from point of arrest to the detention center, from the detention center to court, from the court to the detention center, or to and from medical, dental or psychological appointments and facilities within the county. A. Normally one (1) officer will be used to transport one (1) prisoner in a cruiser when: 1. The prisoner has no known history of .violent behavior or mental disease. 2. The prisoner and the transporting officer are of the same sex. B. Normally two (2) officers will be used to transport prisoners when: 1. The prisoner has a history of violence or mental disease. 2. The prisoner and the transporting officer are of the opposite sex. The on duty supervisor will decide when the second officer is necessary, using the above guidelines. C. Two (2) officers may be used to transport when there is more than one (1) prisoner in the vehicle and in the judgment of the chief deputy or his designee, two (2) officers are necessary.
Prisoner Transport. Xxxxxxxx will transport to the Anchorage Jail the following individuals, if any, arrested by Officers providing service under this Contract. a. All individuals arrested for felonies b. All individuals arrested for crimes of domestic violence as defined in AS 18.66.990(3) c. All individuals with outstanding warrants; and d. All individuals arrested for misdemeanors for which the statewide bail schedule does not permit release on the individual’s own recognizance.

  • Dark Fiber Transport Dark Fiber Transport is defined as Dedicated Transport that consists of unactivated optical interoffice transmission facilities without attached signal regeneration, multiplexing, aggregation or other electronics. Except as set forth in Section 6.9.1 below, BellSouth shall not be required to provide access to Dark Fiber Transport Entrance Facilities pursuant to this Agreement.

  • Violence in the Workplace (a) The parties agree that violence shall be defined as any incident in which an employee is abused, threatened or assaulted while performing his or her work. The parties agree it includes the application of force, threats with or without weapons and severe verbal abuse. The parties agree that such incidents will not be condoned. Any employee who believes he/she has been subjected to such incident shall report this to a supervisor who will make every reasonable effort to rectify the situation. For purposes of sub-article (a) only, employees as referred to herein shall mean all employees of the Employer notwithstanding Article 2.12. (b) The Employer agrees to develop formalized policies and procedures in consultation with the Joint Health and Safety Committee to deal with workplace violence. The policy will address the prevention of violence and the management of violent situations and support to employees who have faced workplace violence. These policies and procedures shall be communicated to all employees. The local parties will consider appropriate measures and procedures in consultation with the Joint Health and Safety Committee to address violence in the workplace, which may include, among other measures and procedures: i) Alert employees about a person with a known history of aggressive and responsive behaviours and their known triggers by means of: A) electronic and/or other appropriate flagging systems, B) direct verbal communication / alerts (i.e. shift reports), ii) Communicate and provide appropriate training and education, iii) Reporting all incidents of workplace violence, iv) Long-term care home wide violence risk assessments. (c) The Employer will report all incidents of violence as defined herein to the Joint Health and Safety Committee for review. (d) The Employer agrees to provide training and information on the prevention of violence to all employees who come into contact with potentially aggressive persons. This training will be done during a new employee’s orientation and updated as required. (e) Subject to appropriate legislation, and with the employee’s consent, the Employer will inform the Union within three (3) days of any employee who has been subjected to violence while performing his/her work. Such information shall be submitted in writing to the Union as soon as practicable.

  • SHIPPING AND AIR TRANSPORT 1. Profits of an enterprise of a Contracting State from the operation of ships or aircraft in international traffic shall be taxable only in that State. 2.   • Transportation Transportation expenses include, but are not limited to, airplane, train, bus, taxi fares, rental cars, parking, mileage reimbursement, and tolls that are reasonably and necessarily incurred as a result of conducting State business. Each State agency shall determine the necessity for travel, and the mode of travel to be reimbursed.
