PRIVATE CARS. 12.1 The Resident is free, should he or she so wish, to retain ownership of a car for his or her own use. Availability of parking facilities at the Home, however, is not guaranteed. The Resident will require permission of the Provider to park at the Home and such permission may be withdrawn at any time in the Provider’s discretion. Furthermore: 12.1.1 any parking facilities provided may be withdrawn by the Home Manager on behalf of the Provider if the Resident’s car appears to the Home to be unroadworthy, illegal or is causing an obstruction, or if the Home becomes aware that the Resident’s driving licence is revoked or becomes invalid, or the car is not used in a period of more than consecutive 45 days; in those circumstances the Resident must arrange for his or her car to be taken away from the Home; and 12.1.2 the parking facilities at the Home are not made available for, and must not be used for, family members or other visitors of the Resident to park their cars otherwise than when they are actually visiting the Resident. 12.2 Whether or not the Resident drives his or her car, or allows anyone else to do so, is entirely the Resident’s decision and responsibility and not something covered by the Provider’s services to the Resident; and it is not the Provider’s decision. Consequently, the Provider does not accept any responsibility for the Resident’s car, or for the Resident or others driving it.
PRIVATE CARS. Reimbursement for use of private cars is possible only when other forms of transport are not available, or are more expensive or otherwise inappropriate for the activities in question. In all cases the use of cars owned by the Assessor/Technical Expert depends on the absence of counter-indications deriving from the ACCREDIA management which is communicated by means of the authorization form which shall contain the details of the journey for each mission. Without this request and/or indication, payment will be made for the equivalent of the cost of a first class rail ticket for the return journey – residence – CAB’s premises. The request for the authorization of a private car (with details of the journey) shall also include the part from residence to the station or airport. If a private vehicle is used for more than one person, only the owner shall receive reimbursement. Reimbursement for use of a car is based on kilometers travelled which currently stands at • 0.51 euro (51 cents) per km. ACCREDIA does not accept any responsibility for any damage to the vehicle or to third parties from use of a private or rented car used during the performance of work activities.

This should be discussed with the Home Manager because you will require permission of the RMBI to park at the Home and any parking facility provided may be withdrawn by the RMBI at any time in the RMBI’s discretion (including, but not only, in the circumstances described below). Furthermore: a. any parking facility provided may be withdrawn by Home Manager on behalf of the RMBI if your vehicle appears to the Home to be unroadworthy, illegal or is causing an obstruction, or if the RMBI becomes aware that your driving licence is revoked or becomes invalid; in those circumstances you must arrange for your car to be taken away from the Home; and b. the parking facilities at the Home are not made available for, and must not be used for, your family members or other visitors to park their cars otherwise than when they are actually visiting you. 20.2. Whether or not you drive your car, or allow anyone else to do so, is your decision and entirely your responsibility and it is not something covered by the RMBI’s services to you. Consequently, the RMBI does not accept any responsibility for your car, or for you or others driving it. However, if as a result of an assessment of your capacity by the RMBI, the RMBI believes that you do not, or may not, have adequate capacity to drive a car, the RMBI shall have the right (but not the obligation) to inform your GP of the RMBI’s belief.
PRIVATE CARS. Reimbursement for use of private cars is possible only when other forms of transport are not available, or are more expensive or otherwise inappropriate for the correct and prompt execution of the activities in question. Reimbursement of expenses for use of private cars is calculated according to kilometers and, until further notice, the rate is:  € 0.51 (fifty-one cents) per km. The DC Department accepts no responsibility for damage to vehicles or to third parties, whether private or rented, used on work missions.

  • Catering The IU Auditorium staff may suggest caterers for your event; however, the Licensee will be responsible for paying all catering costs in a timely manner. All caterers in Presidents Hall must be pre-approved by IU Auditorium management and possess all valid Indiana licenses for food service and the service of alcoholic beverages (if applicable). The caterer must carry commercial general and auto liability insurance, including a products-completed operations endorsement, with minimum limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence / $2,000,000 aggregate. If alcohol is being served, the caterer must also carry dram shop liability with minimum limits of $3,000,000. Licensee must be in compliance with all other university regulations regarding food service including, but not limited to, completing the University Office of Environmental Health & Safety’s Temporary Food Service application, if necessary. In addition, “The Trustees of Indiana University, its officers, agents and employees” must be named as an additional insured on the Certificate of Insurance for both Commercial General Liability and Automobile Liability coverage. The Certificate of Insurance must be submitted to Indiana University for review and approval at least fourteen (14) working days prior to the scheduled date of the event. If Licensee’s vendor/caterer fails to comply with any of the requirements described in this section, the vendor/caterer will not be permitted to serve food or alcohol at the Event and Licensor shall not be responsible for any losses incurred by Licensee or Licensee’s subcontractors as a result of such cancellation. IU Auditorium has an agreement with IATSE Local 618 to provide audio services for all functions in the Presidents Hall. Sound and/or lighting requirements must be communicated in writing to the Events Coordinator a minimum of one week before the scheduled event. If the Licensee has contracted for audio services through another provider (band, outside company, etc.), IU Auditorium reserves the right to assign a member of IATSE Local 618 to be present for the event, in accordance with the governing labor agreement. The IU Auditorium Box Office reserves the right to provide ticketing services for all public events held in Presidents Hall. IU departments or organizations must first complete a Revenue Producing Activity training before pre-box tickets may be sold by any members of the organization. Non-IU departments or organizations may only sell pre-box tickets using cash or check.
