Probationary Faculty Appointments. Tenure and promotion reviews shall be conducted to recommend conferral of Regular status and/or promotion of rank. The recommendations for Regular status and promotion of rank are distinct.

Probationary Appointments 22C.08 The duration of a probationary appointment for persons appointed after the signing of this Collective Agreement shall be four (4) years, unless a shorter period was stipulated in the letter of appointment.

Emergency Appointments Absence from work to attend emergency medical or dental appointments and medical appointments arising from a work related accident covered by Workers’ Compensation, shall be paid for from the employee’s accumulated sick leave.
