PROCEDURES FOR THE AWARDDenial of a Progress-Through-The-Rank(s) Increment). 2.1 The School shall promulgate and communicate to Members all rules, protocols, regulations and instructions by the appropriate authority before they come into effect. A Member may not be disciplined for violation of a rule, protocol, regulation or instruction that violates this Agreement. 3. a) The Xxxx shall notify the Member when the Board believes it has evidence of behaviour warranting disciplinary action.

For all ranks other than Full Professor, where a Member’s salary exceeds $143,219 per annum, the PTR will be at fifty percent (50%) value. For all ranks, where a Member’s salary exceeds $158,523 per annum, the PTR will be nil. 3. Additional qualification increments shall be awarded pursuant to Article 6.25 –

The FPC/FFPC/LPC should also comment whether the rate of progress shown during the initial probationary period, if continued, would likely lead to the award of tenure at the end of the final probationary period. If the performance is found unsatisfactory the FPC/FFPC/LPC may recommend that the Member not be offered a final probationary appointment. 24. In the case of persons appointed at the rank of Associate Professor/Associate Librarian and Full Professor/Librarian, the initial appointment shall be a three (3) year probationary appointment with a tenure evaluation to take place in the final year of the appointment, except as modified in paragraph 20 above. 25. The tenure evaluation is to be conducted in accordance with the procedures set out in Article 2.22 - Tenure, and will result in a decision either to award tenure or to allow the appointment to lapse.

PROCEDURES FOR THE AWARD. Denial for a Progress-Through-the-Ranks Increment; (d) In assessing the applicant’s progress toward meeting the requirements for tenure outlined in paragraphs 5.60.3 (d) and (e) of Article 5.60 – Tenure Evaluation Procedures, the Faculty Personnel Committee shall comment on each aspect of these criteria. The Faculty Personnel Committee should also comment on the rate of progress shown during the initial probationary period. When the Xxxx is satisfied following an investigation that there is just cause to discipline a Member, the Xxxx shall do so by written communication to the Member, setting out therein the reasons therefore. When the Xxxx is satisfied following the investigation that there is just cause to write a formal reprimand the immediate supervisor shall do so directly, although the Member has the right of review per Article
