Professional Day Activities. If there are professional days scheduled prior to the student school year, then at least the equivalent of one day, in no less than three-hour blocks, shall be reserved exclusively for Unit I members to work in his/her classroom for the purpose of preparing for students. Safe Schools: Half of one professional day prior to the first student day will be designated to complete Safe Schools training requirements.

Professional Day Activities. If there are a minimum of seven (7) professional days scheduled prior to the student school year, then at least the equivalent of two (2) days, in no less than three-hour blocks, shall be reserved exclusively for Unit I members to work in their classroom for the purpose of preparing for students and completing SafeSchools Training. If there are less than seven (7) professional days scheduled prior to the student school year, then at least one (1) day, in no less than three-hour blocks, shall be reserved exclusively for Unit 1 members to work in their classroom for the purpose of preparing for students.   • Professional Dues The school district will pay the annual dues for the Superintendent’s membership in the American Association of School Administrators, Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, and Nebraska Council of School Administrators. The Superintendent’s membership in other professional organizations will be considered annually and may be approved at the discretion of the school board.

  • Professional Dress In as much as teachers are role models for students, each teacher shall maintain a neat, professional appearance appropriate for his/her specific teaching assignment.

  • Activities Except with the prior written consent of the Board, Executive will not during his employment with the Company undertake or engage in any other employment, occupation or business enterprise, other than ones in which Executive is a passive investor. Executive may engage in civic and not-for-profit activities so long as such activities do not materially interfere with the performance of his duties hereunder.

  • Professional Development Day The Employees shall be entitled to spend three (3) working days with pay for the purpose of doing research and preparation related to their work at a date mutually acceptable to the Employer and the Employee.

  • EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES 1. In this agreement, extra-curricular programs and activities include all those that are beyond the provincially prescribed and locally determined curricula of the school.
