Professional Employees. Professional employees, as defined by FLSA standard, are paid with a predetermined salary each week irrespective of the number of hours worked in a workweek. Hours of work are defined as those hours of the day, days of the week for which the employees are required to fulfill the responsibilities of their professional positions. The workweek for professional employees shall begin at 12:01 a.m. on Monday and end on Sunday at 12:00 midnight. The normal workweek under this section shall be Monday through Friday.
