Project Anthropologist— Xx. Xxxxx Xxxxxxxxx, University of South Dakota. Xx. Xxxxx Xxxxxxxxx is an assistant professor of anthropology and Native American studies at the University of South Dakota (USD) and a research associate at Indiana University’s Department of Anthropology and American Indian Studies Research Institute (AISRI). Xx. Xxxxxxxxx’x research focuses on the Western and Middle Sioux peoples of the Great Plains, the Lakotas, Yanktons, and Yanktonais. His primary research interests include ethnohistory, ethnography, belief and ritual, and ethnicity and identity. He has presented his work at numerous national and international professional conferences. His manuscript, titled All My Relatives: Exploring Nineteenth- Century Lakota Ontology, Belief, and Ritual, is currently under contract with the University of Nebraska Press, and he has a number of articles and book chapters in press. Xx. Xxxxxxxxx has experience working with and within Native communities on projects relating to culture, history, language, and ceremonial life. He spent five years working in various capacities on the Lakota Language Project, a K-12 Lakota language curriculum development project and partnership between AISRI and Red Cloud Indian School on Pine Ridge Reservation. The Missouri National Recreational River American Indian Traditional Cultural Property Survey and Inventory project provides a great opportunity for Xx. Xxxxxxxxx to utilize the unique archival resources at USD (in particular, the South Dakota Oral History Center), extend his relationships and research through partnering with the Yankton Sioux Tribe, and to involve Native students in his research. Including USD for a subaward is a practical and strategic decision. This project involves both ethnohistorical research and ethnographic fieldwork with three federally recognized tribes, the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska, Santee Sioux Tribe of South Dakota, and Yankton Sioux Tribe of South Dakota, all of whom are located near USD and are represented in the interviews and resources housed in USD’s South Dakota Oral History Center. USD is located approximately 80 miles from the Yankton Sioux Tribal Headquarters, facilitating frequent ethnographic fieldwork visits. Further, there are over 100 Native American students at USD, including a number of enrolled members of the Yankton Sioux Tribe.   • Contractor’s Xxxxxxxx to City Compensation. The Contractor shall send invoices to the City on a monthly or bi-monthly basis for the amounts to be paid pursuant to this contract. Each invoice shall document, to the reasonable satisfaction of the City: such information as may be reasonably requested by the City. Within 60 days after the City receives an invoice, the City shall send the Contractor a check in payment for all undisputed amounts contained in the invoice.

  • CONTRACT XXXXXXXX Contractor and the distributors/resellers designated by the Contractor, if any, shall provide complete and accurate billing invoices to each Authorized User in order to receive payment. The State Comptroller shall render payment for Authorized User purchases, and such payment shall be made in accordance with ordinary State procedures and practices. Payment of Contract purchases made by Authorized Users, other than Agencies, shall be billed directly by Contractor on invoices/vouchers, together with complete and accurate supporting documentation as required by the Authorized User. Submission of an invoice and payment thereof shall not preclude the Commissioner from reimbursement or demanding a price adjustment in any case where the Product delivered is found to deviate from the terms and conditions of the Contract or where the billing was inaccurate. Contractor shall provide, upon request of the Commissioner, any and all information necessary to verify the accuracy of the xxxxxxxx. Such information shall be provided in the format requested by the Commissioner and in a media commercially available from the Contractor. The Commissioner may direct the Contractor to provide the information to the State Comptroller or to any Authorized User of the Contract.
