Project Financial Management Unit. Without limitation upon the provisions of Section I.A.3 immediately above, the Recipient shall, throughout Project implementation, maintain the PFMU adequately staffed with professionals hired under terms of reference and with qualifications and experience satisfactory to the Association. PFMU shall be responsible for carrying out the financial management under the Project, including, without limitation, the responsibility for: (a) the maintenance of accounting records and the preparation of financial statements; (b) the preparation of the financial aspects of the interim unaudited financial reports; (c) the processing of payments; and (d) the preparation of the internal financial audits.
