Common use of Promotional Probationary Periods Clause in Contracts

Promotional Probationary Periods. Promotional employees shall serve a one (1) year probationary period. If the promoted employee does not perform to the satisfaction of the probationary performance appraisal and supervisor, they may return to the previous position and same pay as they had before the promotion. During the probationary period, the employee may be evaluated at least two (2) times. The College may extend the probationary period, provided the College indicates to the employee and the Lodge the reasons for the extension and provided the employee and the Lodge agree to the extension.

The probationary period may be extended by the College, provided the College indicates to the employee and the Lodge the reasons for the extension and provided the employee and the Lodge agree agrees to the extension.
