Proof of Illness or Injury. If the University has reason to believe there is an abuse or pattern of absence, the University may require the employee to provide a doctor’s note. If a request for a doctor’s note is made, the supervisor shall provide advanced notice to the employee that s/he must present a doctor’s note upon returning to work.
