PROVISIONS GOVERNING EMPLOYEES' SALARY SCHEDULE. Except as modified herein, employees shall be placed on the salary schedules in accordance with the rules for education and experience applicable to the state’s Salary Allocation Model in the 2017-18 school year as reflected in Chapter 392-121 WAC and OSPI’s rules applicable to the submission of the S- 275 report. Experience and education recognized by the District for salary schedule placement prior to the 2018-19 school year shall continue to be recognized for the duration of the current agreement. Employees shall be credited with a year of experience towards a step increase for a year in which the total time worked meets or exceeds the qualifying criteria for a year’s credit under the Teacher’s Retirement System (TRS).
