Psychological Harassment and Personal Harassment. The Employer and the Union recognize the right of employees to work in an environment free from personal harassment and agree that employees who engage in personal harassment may be disciplined. Personal harassment means verbal or physical behaviour that is known or ought reasonably to be known to be abusive or offensive to another person and may be discriminatory in nature, based upon another person’s race, colour, ancestry, place or origin, political beliefs, religion, marital status, physical or mental disability, sex, age, sexual orientation or for reason of membership or activity in the Union.
