Public Education & Outreach. 1. Provide space at the administration building for brochures, newsletters and stormwater information provided by LCSWCD 2. Participate in social media promotion by following and sharing LCSWCD social media accounts for stormwater messaging, including LCSWCD website link on City’s webpages. 3. The City and the LCSWCD shall coordinate with each other annually to establish which community events the LCSWCD will attend or host. 4. Complete the MCM 1 Public Education & Outreach section of the Annual Report with information provided by LCSWCD.

Public Education & Outreach. The LCSWCD shall provide a public education program to distribute educational materials to citizens of the City utilizing the following methods of communication: 1. LCSWCD Non-Personal Media (Examples include and are not limited to monthly e-blasts, quarterly newsletters (print and electronic), LCSWCD website, Facebook, informational brochures, traditional mailings) 2. The LCSWCD shall conduct equivalent outreach activities about the impacts of storm water discharges on water bodies and the steps that the public can take to reduce pollutants in storm water runoff utilizing the following method of outreach: a. LCSWCD Storm Water Displays/Presentations (Examples include participation in community events, hosting storm water related workshops, using tabletop models).
Public Education & Outreach. New. The District and County have various public education and outreach materials with some common messages related to proper management and recycling of certain solid wastes. If the District is interested in using some franchise fee funding to support development and/or distribution of additional public education and outreach materials aimed at reducing amount of waste disposed in landfills, a written proposal should be submitted subject to the review and approval of the County’s Conservation and Development Director. This written proposal should include but not necessarily be limited to a description of the proposed activities (develop new brochure, distribute new brochure, distribute existing flyer, etc.), content (message to be communicated), distribution approach (direct mail to residents and/or businesses in the Unincorporated West County Area, dedicated yellow pages tab in West County phone book, etc.), timeline and estimated costs. Amount of funding that would be made available to reimburse for costs related to this subsection will depend on the nature of the activity and will be determined by the County based on review of the District’s written proposal (e.g. direct mail costs would only be reimbursed for addresses within the Unincorporated West County Area).
Public Education & Outreach. The County will develop a Hotline Number to allow Citizens to report stormwater and illicit discharge complaints within the first year of permit. Complaints received for locations within the boundaries of the Town will be routed to the Town for investigation and resolution.
Public Education & Outreach. SJC shall be responsible for conducting all formal public education programs and outreach related to the leaf collection services. SJC will communicate to residents online & to all media outlets by News Release at the beginning of every pass, that the program is not designed to collect all the leaves in the county due to economic restraints and that residents should seek supplemental service.   • Public Outreach The Sponsor is responsible for development and administration of a public outreach effort to ensure public awareness and involvement in the Project development and delivery process. The Sponsor shall provide a copy of the public outreach plan and all materials documenting the public outreach activities, including public notices, press releases, flyers, etc. to the Authority. The public outreach plan must accompany the first invoice for payment from Sponsor. The materials documenting the public outreach activities must accompany the final invoice for payment from Sponsor.

  • Continuing Education The Hospital and the Union recognize that continuing education is important for all employees and that they have shared interests and responsibilities in ensuring equitable access to it.

  • Special Education Teachers Elementary/Secondary Special Education Coordinators shall be compensated for an extended work day in the amount of four thousand dollars ($4,000).

  • Distance Education 7.13.1 Expanding student access, not increasing productivity or enrollment, shall be the primary determining factor when a decision is made to schedule a distance education course. There will be no reduction in force of faculty (as defined in Article XXIII of this Agreement) as a result of the District’s participation in distance education. 7.13.2 Courses considered to be offered as distance education shall be defined in accordance with the Board of Governors’ Title 5 Regulations and Guidelines. Generally, this definition refers to courses where the instructor and student are separated by distance and interact through the assistance of communication technology (reference section 55370 of Title 5 California Code of Regulations). The determination of which courses in the curriculum may be offered in a distance education format, in addition to instructor/student contact requirements, shall be in accordance with the Title 5 California Code of Regulations.

  • Outreach Not less than 30 days prior to the opening of bids or the selection of contractors, the Agency-Assisted Contractor or Contractor shall:

  • Union Education If the local union indicates to the Hospital that its members have approved a special assessment for union education in accordance with the CUPE constitution and local union by laws, the Hospital agrees to deduct this assessment. Such assessment will be paid on a quarterly basis into a trust fund established and administered by OCHU/CUPE for this purpose.

  • In-Service Education The parties recognize the value of in-service both to the employee and the Employer and shall encourage employees to participate in in-service. All employees scheduled by the Employer to attend in-service seminars shall receive regular wages.
