Quality management of the supplier. The supplier undertakes to permanently apply a quality management system in accordance with IATF16949 or at least one system which is certified in accordance with ISO 9001 in the respectively valid version. The supplier is committed to the zero-defect target and must continuously optimize its services to this effect. This goal is pursued through consistent quality planning and series monitoring with a focus on error prevention and continuous improvement. Insofar as Elektra provides the supplier with production and test equipment, in particular resources and facilities in connection with the purchase of supplies, these must be included by the supplier in its quality management system as own production and test equipment, unless otherwise agreed (e.g. in lending contracts).

Quality management of the supplier. 2.1 The Supplier hereby undertakes to maintain a quality management system according to the respective valid version of the DIN EN ISO 9001 with the obligation to the zero- error target and the continuous improvement of its services. If a corresponding certification is not or no longer available, the Supplier shall undertake to maintain a quality management system with equivalent contents to guarantee a consistently high proven quality of the products to be delivered to himolla. The Supplier further undertakes to constantly improve and supplement this system in line with the status of technology or owing to agreements with himolla.
Quality management of the supplier. (IATF 16949: Chapter 4) The SUPPLIER is fully responsible for the products and services supplied by him. The supplier is obliged to introduce and maintain a quality management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001 in the current version. A certification according to IATF 16949, DIN EN ISO 14001 is desirable, if this is not the case, the supplier is required to improve his QM system in this respect. The use of relevant quality management tools (core tools) from IATF 16949 is assumed, if applicable. The clear development objective of SUPPLIER is IATF 16949 in the currently valid version. The SUPPLIER shall provide the CUSTOMER with the respective valid certificates without being requested to do so and shall also inform the CUSTOMER without being requested to do so if a certificate has expired. The SUPPLIER undertakes to allow system, product, process and other inspections by the Xxxx Group - if desired also with its customers of the Xxxx Group - after consultation. For this purpose, the representatives of the Xxxx Group and its customers must be given access to the production facilities. In this case, the confidentiality agreement also applies to the customers of the Xxxx Group (see chapter 1.3). If the Supplier procures the production or other pre-supplies from sub-suppliers for the products, processes or services required by the Xxxx Group, it shall include these in its QM system or ensure the quality of the pre-supplies itself through suitable measures or developments. The SUPPLIER shall oblige its sub-suppliers to comply with the obligations assumed by it under this agreement. The Xxxx Group may demand documented evidence from the SUPPLIER that the SUPPLIER has satisfied itself of the effectiveness of the quality management system at its sub- suppliers and/or has ensured the quality of its purchased parts or external service by other suitable measures. Insofar as the Xxxx Group provides the SUPPLIER with production and testing equipment, this must be included by the SUPPLIER in its quality management system in the same way as its own production and testing equipment, unless otherwise agreed. All operating and measuring equipment which is in the possession of the SUPPLIER but is the property of the Xxxx Group or its customers must be clearly and permanently marked as such. Quality management of the supplier. The supplier will uphold a modern quality management system which pervades all areas of the company, is based on the international ISO 9001 standard or comparable regulation, e.g. ISO/TS 16949 and to uphold said standards according to a zero-error and continuous improvement philosophy for all services to be supplied. As proof, the supplier shall provide centrotherm with a copy of the valid certificate without being asked. The same applies every time the certificate is renewed. The supplier is to inform centrotherm as soon as the certificate is suspended or withdrawn, or if it expires without renewal.
