External Service definition

External Service means the service provided by business operators other than the Company and prescribed by the Company, which collaborates with the Services.

External Service may be made manifest by such activities as the following: Participation on external boards or committees; Professional service to community organizations through research, program assessment, or consulting; Sustained volunteer service to religious, educational, social service organizations or individuals; Service to one’s professional and disciplinary organizations; Lectures, presentations, and sharing of creative work with community audiences.”

External Service. Provider shall mean an external provider of a service required by the Corporation. Outsourcing shall mean an arrangement whereby the Corporation enters into a contract with a service provider from outside the Corporation for the provision of goods and/or services which have previously been provided internally. Recreational Businesses shall mean employees covered by the Recreational Businesses Enterprise Bargaining Agreement. Union shall mean the Australian Municipal, Administrative, Clerical and Services Union, referred to as the Australian Services Union (ASU). Any reference to Union shall also refer to “Association”. Level shall mean the classification Level under the salary structure contained in Schedule 1 of this Agreement. Clause 6: Intent of Agreement The intent of this agreement is to continue the development of the new culture within the Corporation so management and employees develop a shared understanding and purpose in terms of what is required to achieve ongoing recognition as a leading local government authority and an employer of choice. Clause 7: Objectives The objectives of this agreement are to: • provide operational flexibility to meet business as well as employee outcomes. • provide a business environment that improves working relationships between the Corporation, employees and their representatives which may include the Unions. • facilitate the Corporation meeting its Strategic Management Plan. • realise that the agreement is only one tool to facilitate business and employee outcomes. The Corporation is committed, during the life of this Agreement, to bargain collectively with the Parties to this Agreement. Clause 8: Employment Categories

• If your External Service Purchase includes an automatically renewing subscription, your External Service Account will continue to be periodically charged for the subscription until you cancel.

• However, you will need to cancel / manage any External Service Purchases through your External Service Account (e.g., iTunes, Google Play) to avoid additional billing.

• The Licensee must (subject to paragraph 16.6) procure Relevant Service Capability from External Service Providers on a competitive basis and under arrangements to be known as External Service Provider Contracts that are compliant with the principles established by Part B below (“the Part B Principles”).

• This paragraph applies if, in premises that are occupied by (i) the Licensee or an External Service Provider and (ii) some other person, there is any area that must be kept secure in order to maintain the security of the Authorised Business.

• PeopleMedia will retain all funds charged to your External Service Account until you cancel your subscription through your External Service Account.
