Quarantine, Jury Duty or Witness Duty. Absence occasioned by quarantine, jury duty or subpoena as a witness in any proceedings in which the teacher is not the person who commences the action or application shall not be chargeable against sick leave credits. A teacher’s normal salary and benefits shall be unaffected by such absence provided such service fees as are received by the teacher as a juror or witness shall be remitted to the Board.
