R elief of Duty. Notwithstanding the provisions of this Article, the County official initiating the disciplinary action may approve the temporary assignment of an employee to a status of leave with pay pending conduct or completion of such investigation(s) or the opportunity to respond as may be required to determine if disciplinary action is to be taken.

  • Off Duty day - Except where the provisions of 10.3.1 apply, if a public holiday, other than Waitangi Day and ANZAC Day, falls on a rostered employee's off duty day (such off duty day not being a Saturday or a Sunday) the employee shall be granted an additional day's leave at a later date convenient to the Employer.

  • STATEMENT OF DUTIES 56.01 Upon written request, an employee shall be provided with a complete and current statement of the duties and responsibilities of his or her position, including the classification level and, where applicable, the point rating allotted by factor to his or her position, and an organization chart depicting the position’s place in the organization.

  • PERFORMANCE OF DUTY 23.1 The Employer and the Union acknowledge that this Agreement provides, through the Grievance Procedure contained therein, for an orderly settlement of grievances or disputes which may arise between the parties. If a tour of duty extends beyond 2400 hours it shall be considered as falling wholly within the calendar day in which it started.
