RATE OF PAY: EMPLOYEE SUBSTITUTE. Bargaining unit employees who are employed as regular employees in one (1) classification, job title, or Department, but who also work as substitute employees in another classification, job title, or Department, shall be paid at the substitute rate. When the employee is substituting in his/her own classification, job title, or Department, he/she will be paid at the starting/lowest rate of the regular schedule for the job in which he/she is working as a substitute, or his/her regular rate, whichever is higher, For example:
