Route Time. Determination of the time for all routes and trips shall be made by the Board based on the average time for the route/trip plus the following bus preparation time allowance: fifteen (15) minutes for a morning route, ten (10) minutes for a noon kindergarten route, ten (10) minutes for an afternoon route and ten (10) minutes clean up time after a field/extra trip. There shall be a minimum of one hour downtime pay whenever a driver is called in to work. If a scheduled special education run is cancelled after the time a driver normally reports to work, there shall be a minimum of one hour down-time pay. (See also section 17.4)
