Recall at Reduced Hours. Any regular employees on the recall list will have the right to decline a recall to work at reduced hours without loss of seniority.

Leave on reduced pay An employee shall, during a period on reduced pay, be paid at the same reduced rate for public holidays falling during the period of such leave.
Average Log Length and Payment Reduction If the average log length for all logs delivered under this contract is less than the average log length specified in the table in clause G-024.2, The amount of allowable payment reduction shall be calculated by multiplying the payment rate in P-028.2 by the total volume delivered, and the difference between the average length of logs delivered and the average log length specified in G-024.2, times 1% as follows: Log Length Payment Reduction = (B x V x L) x (.01) 1/10th) Where: B = Bid rate from P-028.2 clause V = total delivered log Volume L = Length in feet below specified average (rounded to nearest Average log length payment reductions calculated by the Purchaser must be approved by the State, prior to payment for the final billing period. Scale information for determining Average log length for payment reduction eligibility must be obtained from roll-out scale. Truck-ramp, sample scaling, and/or bundle scaling information is not acceptable for determining eligibility. Purchaser’s exclusive remedy for below average log lengths shall be the payment reduction described in this clause, notwithstanding other provisions in the Uniform Commercial Code.
Voluntary Reduced Work Week Employees subject to the approval by the Appointing Officer may voluntarily elect to work a reduced work week for a specified period of time. Such reduced work week shall not be less than twenty (20) hours per week. Pay, vacation, holidays and sick pay shall be reduced in accordance with such reduced work week.
PAYMENT FROM OUTSIDE AGENCIES CONTRACTOR shall notify LEA when Medi-Cal or any other agency is billed for the costs associated with the provision of special education and/or related services covered by this Master Contract or the ISA to LEA pupils. Upon request, CONTRACTOR shall provide to LEA any and all documentation regarding reports, billing, and/or payment by Medi-Cal or any other agency for the costs associated with the provision of special education and/or related services covered by this Master Contract or ISA to LEA pupils.
Recall Period Post probationary employees who are laid-off beyond a one year period of time shall be deemed to be terminated. Probationary employees who are laid-off beyond a three month period of time shall be deemed to be terminated.
Recall Notice Notice of Recall or available position may be made in person or by U.S. Mail, return receipt requested. It is the responsibility of each laid off employee notify the Sheriff of his/her current address.
Reduction in Hours Any reduction in regularly assigned time shall be considered a layoff under the provisions of this Article.
Voluntary Reduction in Hours Appointing Authorities may allow employee(s) to take unpaid leaves of absence to reduce layoffs otherwise necessary. If it is necessary to limit the number of employees in a work unit on unpaid leave at the same time, the Appointing Authority shall determine whether conflicts shall be resolved among classes or within a particular class based upon staffing needs. In either event, leave shall be granted on the basis of State Seniority within the employee's work unit. Such employees taking leaves of absence under this Section shall continue to accrue vacation and sick leave and be eligible for paid holidays and insurance benefits as if the employees had been actually employed during the time of leave. If a leave of absence is for one (1) full pay period or longer, any holiday pay shall be included in the first payroll period warrant after return from the leave of absence. Upon return from leave, the employee shall return to his/her former position.
Recall from Layoff Full-time and regular part-time nurses shall be recalled in the order of seniority unless otherwise agreed between the Hospital and the local Union, subject to the following provisions, provided that a nurse recalled is qualified to perform the available work:
Reasonable Cause Testing Reasonable cause for testing is a belief that an employee is under the influence of a drug and/or alcohol based on specific facts and/or reasonable inferences derived from those facts. An observing supervisor shall describe and document the following: -Specific observations concerning the appearance, behavior, speech or performance of the employee; and/or -Violation of safety rule or other unsafe work incident which, after investigation, leads the supervisor(s) to believe that drug and/or alcohol use may be a contributing factor; and/or -Other physical, circumstantial or immediate indicators of drug and/or alcohol use.
