Temporary Vacancies (a) Vacancies of a temporary nature, which exceed or are expected to exceed three (3) months, shall be posted as per Article 24.1.
Temporary Vacancy A vacancy in a position caused by the regularly assigned occupant being absent from duty (including on vacation but excluding pre-retirement vacation) or temporarily assigned to other duties.
JOB VACANCIES Vacancies or new positions shall be awarded to the senior employee applicant where the employee currently possesses the necessary capabilities to perform the work. Qualifications for the job shall be posted by the Employer, and the posting shall include the shift and number of hours for the position. No employee shall be eligible to bid on a job vacancy or new position until the employee has worked in the employee's existing job for a minimum of one hundred eighty (180) days. The provisions of the preceding sentence shall not apply when employees bid on vacancies or new positions in the employee's same classification. All vacancies shall be bulletined for a minimum of five (5) calendar days, and notice of the same furnished to the Union at the same time. Each Hospital shall develop a system to ensure that only applicants signing the posting during the five calendar day posting period will be considered. Temporary assignments may be made during such posting period only; provided assignments to a new classification may be on a temporary basis for ten (10) days. If a question arises as to the capability of an employee to perform the employee's duties after the above herein procedure has been used, that question, and any other question incidental thereto pertaining to the employee's classification and rate of pay, shall be settled by mutual agreement between the Employer and the Union. If such questions cannot be so settled, they shall be settled by arbitration as provided in Article 2. In filling vacancies or new positions, senior employees in the classification where the vacancy or new position is located shall be given preference. In the event that the vacant or new position cannot be filled with a qualified employee from that classification then qualified applicants from other classifications within the bargaining unit will be considered based on bargaining unit seniority.
Temporary Teachers Section 2 (Application of Act) of The Teachers’ Life Insurance (Government Contributory) Act shall include teachers employed as a “temporary teacher” under Clause 2 of The Education Act, 1995 provided the term specified for the temporary contract is for a period of at least 20 teaching days (full or partial). The insurance coverage provided pursuant to this Clause will be effective from the first day of the contract to the end of the insurance year. Article Seven
Temporary Roads As necessary to attain stabilization of roadbed and fill slopes of Temporary Roads, Purchaser shall employ such measures as out- sloping, drainage dips, and water-spreading ditches. After a Temporary Road has served Purchaser’s pur- pose, Purchaser shall give notice to Forest Service and shall remove bridges and culverts, eliminate ditches, out- slope roadbed, remove ruts and berms, effectively block the road to normal vehicular traffic where feasible under existing terrain conditions, and build cross ditches and water bars, as staked or otherwise marked on the ground by Forest Service. When bridges and culverts are re- moved, associated fills shall also be removed to the ex- tent necessary to permit normal maximum flow of water.
Temporary Suspension 13.1. JetBrains reserves the right to suspend Customer’s access to JetBrains Products if:
Temporary Upgrade An employee in a temporary upgrade status shall have no right to grieve or arbitrate release from such temporary upgrade status.
Temporary Reduction of Downpayment When, under B8.33, Contracting Officer orders a delay or interruption of Purchaser’s Operations for more than 30 days when scheduled operations would be occurring but for the order, the downpayment amount required shall be temporarily reduced upon the written request of Purchaser or at the discretion of the Contracting Officer. For the period of the delay or interruption, the downpayment on deposit may be reduced to $1,000 or two (2) percent of the downpayment amount listed in A18, whichever is larger. Any downpayment amount temporarily reduced pursuant to this Subsection may be refunded or transferred at the request of Purchaser. However, if Purchaser has outstanding debt owed to the United States, Contracting Officer must apply the amount of downpayment that could be refunded to the debt owed in accordance with the Debt Collection Improvement Act, as amended (31 USC 3701, et seq.).
STATUS OF TEMPORARY ORDERS All temporary orders previously rendered by the court in the pending dissolution action of the Couple shall be deemed fully satisfied as to those acts whose performance was required on or before the effective date of this Agreement and shall be deemed superseded by this Agreement as to those acts whose performance was not required.
Temporary Services The steamfitters shall not do any other work and shall not be permitted to work more than one shift in a twenty- four hour day. When steamfitters are present during the regular working day, no temporary services steamfitter will be required. Effective Period: 7/1/2015 - 6/30/2016 Wage Rate per Hour: $41.80 Supplemental Benefit Rate per Hour: $42.76 Overtime Double time the regular rate after an 8 hour day. Double time the regular time rate for Saturday. Double time the regular rate for Sunday.
