Receipt of Deposits. We are not responsible for deposits (such as deposits by mail or at unstaffed locations or night depositories) until they are actually received and verified by us and we issue a receipt. Deposits received on weekends or federal holidays or received after our cutoff times will be considered received on our next Business Day. Business Day means Monday through Friday, and does not include Saturdays, Sundays, or federal holidays. Our counts of money deposited shall be conclusive. We may impose additional requirements for certain deposits (e.g. very large cash deposits).
Receipt of Deposits. Waterford reserves the right to reject any check transmitted through Mobile Deposit, at our discretion, without liability to you. Waterford is not responsible for processing or transmission errors that may occur, or for deposited items that it does not receive. An image of an item shall be deemed received when you receive a confirmation from Waterford that we have received the image. Receipt of such confirmation does not mean that the transmission will be processed on the date of receipt (for example, if not received on a banking day or received on a business day but subsequent to Waterford’s daily cut-off time), was error free, complete, or will otherwise be considered a deposit and credited to your account. We further reserve the right to charge back to your account at any time, any items that we subsequently determine was not an eligible item. You agree that Waterford is not liable for any loss, costs, or fees you may incur as a result of our chargeback of an ineligible item.

You can confirm that an image of a check was received by confirming via your Online Banking account under View Deposit History. Receipt of such confirmation does not mean that the transmission was error-free or complete, or that your account will not be charged back for the amount of the deposit if the check image presented is dishonored or returned unpaid for any reason by the financial institution on which it is drawn. You consent to the electronic delivery of hold and error in deposit notices. Notices may be sent to your e-mail address.
Receipt of Deposits. All Images processed for deposit through Mobile Banking will be treated as “deposits” under this Agreement. Bank is not responsible for any Image Bank does not receive. When you successfully Submit an Image to Bank, Bank will confirm that it has received the Image. Bank shall not be deemed to have received the Image for deposit until it has confirmed receipt to you. Bank’s confirmation does not mean that your Submission and deposit are complete or without error. All of your Images are subject to Bank’s further verification prior to being accepted for deposit and final payment after deposit. Following receipt, Bank may process the Image by preparing a Substitute Check or clearing the item as an Image. Bank reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to reject any Image for remote deposit into your Linked Account.

Receipt of Deposits. All transactions received after our daily cut-off time on a business day we are open, or received on a day on which we are not open for business, will be treated and recorded as if received on the next business day that we are open. Saturday, Sunday and federal holidays are not considered business days. All checks, drafts and other items are conditionally credited to your account in U.S. dollars and are subject to our receipt of final payment for each item. We assume no responsibility for collections beyond the exercise of reasonable care. For deposited items, we are not responsible for the negligence of our correspondent banks or for the loss of “in transit” items. Cash Deposits Please do not send cash deposits through the mail. In the event that cash deposits are received, you agree that the Bank’s determination of the amount of the deposit will be final. The Bank is not liable for any deposits, including cash, lost in the mail, lost in transit, or not received by the Bank. Direct Deposits If we deposit any amount into your account which should have been returned to the Federal Government for any reason, you authorize us to deduct the amount of our liability to the Federal Government from your account or from any other account you have with us, without prior notice and at any time, except as prohibited by law. We may also use any other legal remedy to recover the amount of our liability. If a direct deposit posts to your account and is later found to be made payable to someone other than yourself or another account owner listed in our records, the amount of the deposit will be deducted from your account and returned to the originator without prior notice to you.
