Recognition for Past Experience. Full-time and part-time nurses hired during the term of this Agreement shall be compensated in accordance with the following plan: a. All nurses hired during the term of this Agreement shall be given full credit for continuous recent experience when placed on the wage scale. b. For purposes of this section, continuous recent experience as a registered nurse shall be defined as clinical nursing experience in an accredited hospital or skilled nursing facility (including temporary employment with an employer) without a break in nursing experience which would reduce the level of nursing skills in the opinion of the Vice President of Clinical Service.
