Innovative Schedules. Registered Nurses who agree to work innovative schedules, or schedules other than an eight (8) hour workday or 80 hour pay period involving weekend work shall only be paid time and one-half when working on the specific weekend day normally scheduled off. All innovative schedules must be arranged in advance and mutually agreed to in writing. Registered Nurses working such agreed upon innovative shifts in excess of eight (8) hours (such as ten (10) and twelve (12) hour shifts) shall be paid overtime for hours worked in excess of forty (40) in a workweek. In addition, Registered Nurses will be paid time and one-half for all time worked in excess of their regularly scheduled shift, (i.e. an employee working twelve hour shifts would be paid time and one- half for all hours worked in excess of the twelve hours).
Innovative Schedules. The Employer and employee may agree to other innovative work schedules with advance notice and agreement of the Union. ·
Innovative Schedules. Innovative schedules are those that are other than the basic workday as identified in 7.2 above. Where innovative schedules are utilized by the Employer, the Employer will provide at least a 14 days’ notice to the department and seek volunteers before assigning employees an innovative work schedule. The Employer retains the right to revert back to the previous schedule, after at least thirty (30) days advance notice to the employee.
Innovative Schedules. The parties agree that schedules, other than those included in Articles 13.01 and 13.02, may be developed in order to improve quality of working life, support continuity of patient care, ensure adequate staffing resources, and support cost-efficiency. When an Employee on a unit submits, in writing, a request to work under the innovative scheduling provisions, the Hospital, and the Union will meet to consider the request and if there is agreement to proceed, discuss and finalize the implementation issues.
Innovative Schedules. Innovative work schedules which deviate from the normal work week or normal work day that are implemented for an entire shift, department, or on a hospital-wide basis, shall be mutually agreeable to the Employer, Union and the majority of employees involved. The Union shall be given notice and an opportunity to bargain about the work schedule.
Innovative Schedules. Innovative schedules may be established with the mutual consent of the hospital and affected nurse(s). Innovative schedules may be initiated by either party. The Association shall have fourteen (14) days to review and comment on the proposed schedule before mutual consent occurs. Specific components of the schedule will be specifically addressed. Otherwise, all terms and conditions of the contract shall apply.
Innovative Schedules. An innovative schedule is defined as a work schedule that requires a change, modification, or waiver of any of the provisions of this Agreement. Innovative schedules may be established with the mutual consent of the Hospital, the Union, and the affected employee(s). Prior to implementing an innovative schedule, the Employer and the Union shall agree on the terms and conditions related to that innovative schedule before mutual consent between the employee(s), the Union, and the Hospital occurs. The innovative schedule shall be memorialized in writing, and shall specifically address any terms of this Agreement which have been mutually modified and the circumstances under which the Hospital may discontinue the innovative schedule.

Innovative schedules are those that are other than eight (8) hours in duration and require some change, modification or waiver of the provisions of this Employment Agreement. Where innovative schedules are utilized by the Employer, the Employer retains the right to revert back to the eight (8) hour day schedule or the work schedule that was in effect immediately prior to the innovative work schedule, after at least thirty (30) days’ advance notice to the nurse.

O-4 Article 13.04 – Unit Weekend Schedules In order to meet the Hospital’s needs for weekend staff and individual Nurses’ preference for working weekends, the parties agree that when a Nurse on a unit submits in writing a desire to work a weekend schedule, the Hospital and the Union will meet to discuss implementation issues which include but are not limited to: Introduction / Discontinuation; Averaging of hours; Paid Holiday Bank / Vacation Banks; Scheduling Provisions.
