Referrals for Specialty Care. The State shall ensure that: a) inmates whose serious medical or mental health needs exceed the services available at their Facility shall be referred in a timely manner to appropriate medical or mental health care professionals; b) the findings and recommendations of such professionals are tracked and documented in inmates’ medical files; and c) treatment recommendations are followed, as clinically indicated and as appropriate in a correctional setting.

Referrals for Specialty Care. The County shall ensure that - (a) Detainees whose serious medical or mental health needs exceed the services available at the Jail shall be referred in a timely manner to appropriate medical or mental health care professionals; (b) the findings and recommendations of such professionals are tracked and documented in Detainees’ medical files; and (c) treatment recommendations are followed as clinically indicated. The County shall maintain sufficient security staff to ensure that Detainees requiring treatment are escorted to appointments in a timely manner. Without admitting prior deficiencies, the County of Oklahoma County will continue striving to provide constitutional standards of care to all detainees and inmates at the Jail.

  • Child Care The County will continue to support the concept of non-profit child care facilities similar to the “Kid’s at Work” program established in the Public Works Department.

  • Hospice Care If you have a terminal illness and you agree with your physician not to continue with a curative treatment program, this plan covers hospice care services received in your home, in a skilled nursing facility, or in an inpatient facility.

  • Contract for Services The parties intend this Agreement to be a contract for the provision of services and not a contract for the sale of goods. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the provisions of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), the Uniform Computer Information Transaction Act (UCITA), the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, and any substantially similar legislation as may be enacted, shall not apply to this Agreement.

  • Surgery Services This plan covers surgery services to treat a disease or injury when: • the operation is not experimental or investigational, or cosmetic in nature; • the operation is being performed at the appropriate place of service; and • the physician is licensed to perform the surgery. This plan covers reconstructive surgery and procedures when the services are performed to relieve pain, or to correct or improve bodily function that is impaired as a result of: • a birth defect; • an accidental injury; • a disease; or • a previous covered surgical procedure. Functional indications for surgical correction do not include psychological, psychiatric or emotional reasons. This plan covers the procedures listed below to treat functional impairments. • abdominal wall surgery including panniculectomy (other than an abdominoplasty); • blepharoplasty and ptosis repair; • gastric bypass or gastric banding; • nasal reconstruction and septorhinoplasty; • orthognathic surgery including mandibular and maxillary osteotomy; • reduction mammoplasty; • removal of breast implants; • removal or treatment of proliferative vascular lesions and hemangiomas; • treatment of varicose veins; or • gynecomastia.

  • Fee for Services Recipient agrees to pay to Contran $282,500 quarterly on the first business day of each quarter, commencing as of January 1, 2002, pursuant to this Agreement.

  • Hospice Services Services are available for a Member whose Attending Physician has determined the Member's illness will result in a remaining life span of six months or less.

  • Fees for Services The compensation of the Subadviser for its services under this Agreement shall be calculated and paid by the Adviser in accordance with the attached Schedule C. Pursuant to the Investment Advisory Agreement between the Fund and the Adviser, the Adviser is solely responsible for the payment of fees to the Subadviser.

  • Educational Services Any service or supply for education, training or retraining services or testing including: special education, remedial education; cognitive remediation; wilderness/outdoor treatment, therapy or adventure programs (whether or not the program is part of a Residential Treatment facility or otherwise licensed institution); job training or job hardening programs; educational services and schooling or any such related or similar program including therapeutic programs within a school setting.

  • Pharmacy Services The Contractor shall establish a network of pharmacies. The Contractor or its PBM must provide at least two (2) pharmacy providers within thirty (30) miles or thirty (30) minutes from a member’s residence in each county, as well as at least two (2) durable medical equipment providers in each county or contiguous county.

  • EFT SERVICES If approved, you may conduct any one (1) or more of the EFT services offered by the Credit Union.
