Referred Teachers. Permanent teachers who receive an unsatisfactory final evaluation in either subject matter knowledge, or teaching methods/strategies as provided for in the California Standards for Teaching Profession shall, be referred to the joint panel for intervention. 1. RT will receive assistance and coaching through the services of a Consulting Teacher (CT) to improve subject matter knowledge and teaching methods/ strategies. 2. RT shall have the right to present reasons in writing why their specific CT should be replaced and to have their reasons considered by the Joint Panel (JP).
