Common use of Rehabilitation Committee Clause in Contracts

Rehabilitation Committee. ‌ (a) The Employer and the Union agree to a Rehabilitation Committee compromising of four (4) persons, two (2) appointed by the Union and two (2) appointed by the Employer. (b) Committee members appointed by the Union will be granted time off without loss of basic pay for the purpose of attending meetings of the Committee and performing Committee approved business. (c) The Committee is limited to reviewing alternate employment opportunities for employees deemed totally disabled or partially disabled by the Employer and therefore unable to perform their normal duties. (d) The Committee may make non-binding recommendations to the Employer and Union as to possible alternate employment opportunities for employees.
