Reimbursement of Emergency Meals. Employees who ordinarily qualify for a meal during the performance of after-hours emergency work shall, with the proper receipts, be reimbursed up to a maximum allowance as set by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) per diem rates for Travel Meals and Incidentals in San Diego. Category (breakfast, lunch, or dinner) of reimbursement will be dependent on the time at which the meal period began and needs to be purchased with 24 hours after the shift ends.
