Specific efforts will continue to be made to reduce staff turnover and retain workers in a company. In connection with the enlargement of the European Union, the social partners, FoodServiceEurope and EFFAT, express the wish to carry out, with the assistance and support of the public authorities, capacity building measures in the new Member States with a view to establish social partner structures and social dialogues for the sector in those countries.

This is why the European social partners for the Contract Catering sector have jointly carried out a number of surveys and studies, e.g. on continuous training practices, on collective bargaining in the contract-catering sector, on the economically most advantageous offer in public procurement, and signed several agreements and declarations, e.g. on vocational training, on VAT, on food safety and hygiene, and they will continue to do so in the future. Contract Catering enterprises will abide by European legislation, such as the Directive establishing a general framework for informing and consulting employees, and the Directive on the establishment of European Works Councils, and pursue to continuously enhance the cooperation between the social partners, as a well-functioning social dialogue is a competitive edge.   • CONTACTS BETWEEN THE PARTIES 15.1 Each Party shall update its own contact information and escalation list and shall provide such information to the other Party for purposes of inquiries regarding the implementation of this Agreement. Each Party shall accept all inquiries from the other Party and provide a timely response. CenturyLink will provide and maintain its contact and escalation list on the CenturyLink Website, and any updates also will be provided on the Website. Information contained on the Website will include a single contact telephone number for CenturyLink’s CLEC Service Center (via an 800#) that CLEC may call for all ordering and status inquiries and other day-to-day inquiries at any time during the Business Day. In addition, the Website will provide CLEC with contact information for the personnel and/or organizations within CenturyLink capable of assisting CLEC with inquiries regarding the ordering, provisioning and billing of Interconnection, UNE and resale services. Included in this information will be the contact information for a person or persons to whom CLEC can escalate issues dealing with the implementation of the Agreement and/or for assistance in resolving disputes arising under the Agreement.

  • LABOUR MANAGEMENT RELATIONS 30.01 A Labour/Management Relations Committee shall be appointed, consisting of a maximum of two (2) Shop Stewards from the Union, and a maximum of two (2) representatives from the Co-operative. The full-time Union Representative may also attend these meetings from time to time. The Committee shall meet at the request of either party, for the purpose of discussing matters of mutual concern. Time spent by bargaining unit employees in carrying out the functions of this Committee shall be considered as time worked and shall be paid for by the Co-operative. The Committee shall not have jurisdiction to interpret and/or amend the Collective Agreement.

  • Labour Management (a) No employee or group of employees will undertake to represent the Union at meetings with the University without the proper authorization of the Union. Neither will the University meet with any employee or group of employees undertaking to represent the Union without the authorization of the Union. In representing an employee or group of employees, an elected or appointed representative of the Union will speak for the Union.

  • EMPLOYMENT RELATIONSHIPS The ORGANIZATION, its employees, volunteers or agents performing under this Agreement are not deemed to be employees of the COUNTY, nor volunteers or agents of the COUNTY in any manner whatsoever. No officer, employee, volunteer or agent of the ORGANIZATION will hold themselves out as, or claim to be, an officer, employee, volunteer or agent of the COUNTY by reason hereof, nor will they make any claim, demand or application to or for any right or privilege applicable to an officer, employee volunteer or agent of the COUNTY. The parties agree that the COUNTY will not be responsible for the payment of any industrial insurance premiums or related claims or other benefits that may arise during the performance of services under this Agreement for any ORGANIZATION employee or volunteer, or for any consultant’s, contractor’s or subcontractor’s employee(s) or agent(s) that has been retained by the ORGANIZATION.

  • COOPERATION BETWEEN THE PARTIES The College and UFE shall supply each other with requested information reasonably needed to facilitate the processing of the grievance. Meetings to discuss any grievance shall be scheduled at mutually convenient times.

  • Disputes between Contracting Parties (1) Disputes between Contracting Parties regarding the interpretation or application of the provisions of this Agreement shall be settled through diplomatic channels.
