Relocation Impact Studies. ‌ An estimated 8 to 10 businesses may be impacted due to the proposed project, and one residential duplex may be impacted. All displacees will be contacted by a Relocation Agent, who will ensure that eligible displacees receive their full relocation benefits, including advisory assistance, and that all activities will be conducted in accordance with the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970, as amended. Relocation resources shall be available to all displacees free of discrimination. At the time of the first written offer to purchase, owner occupants are given a detailed explanation of Caltrans’ “Relocation Program and Services.” Tenant occupants of properties to be acquired are contacted soon after the first written offer to purchase and are given a detailed explanation of Caltrans’ “Relocation Program and Services.” In accordance with the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970, as amended, Caltrans will provide relocation advisory assistance to any person, business, farm or nonprofit organization displaced because of the acquisition of real property for public use.
Relocation Impact Studies. A Relocation Impact Report was prepared for the proposed project (OPC(?), 2014). Property acquisitions would be required along the proposed corridor. While the displacement area is predominately agricultural, it encompasses a wide range of residential and commercial occupancy types including: Single Family Residences (SFR’s), multiple family residences (MFR’s), mobile homes, and commercial uses including industrial, commercial, retail, and farmland. Relocation assistance payments and advisory assistance will be provided in accordance with the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970, and as amended in 1987 (URA) and the project’s Relocation Assistance Program (RAP).
