Replacement Educators Sample Clauses

Replacement Educators. The Board may hire a replacement educator for up to two (2) years on limited one (1) year contracts for the purpose of replacing an educator who is temporarily taking a position for curriculum support. At the end of the temporary assignment, the curriculum support educator may return to the position left. If the curriculum support educator elects not to return to the original position, the job shall be filled via standard contract procedures. If the replacement educator is not hired to fill a vacancy at the end of the 1st year, and a 2nd one year contract is offered, that person will be considered to have two years experience and will have bidding rights for vacancies as stipulated by the contract at the end of the 2nd one year limited contract.

  • Adult Education Teachers of Adult Education shall be paid at the rate of thirty-five ($35.00) an hour. Break time will not be deducted from teachers’ pay.

  • Resident Educator A Resident Educator is a teacher employed under a resident educator license.

  • Paraeducators A Paraeducator who has successfully completed a probationary period of ninety (90) calendar days. The term Paraeducators shall include all Paraeducators as defined in Appendix B. Paraeducators will work a 186-day contract, 7½ hours per day and receive four (4) paid holidays unless otherwise specified.

  • In-Service Education The parties recognize the value of in-service both to the employee and the Employer and shall encourage employees to participate in in-service. All employees scheduled by the Employer to attend in-service seminars shall receive regular wages.

  • Training and Education SECTION 1 – Law Enforcement Supervisors’ Training The state and the PBA recognize the importance of supervisor training programs to develop management skills in our law enforcement supervisors. The state will make a reasonable effort to continue existing training programs in law enforcement techniques and to develop new programs in performance review techniques, supervisory skills, and managerial techniques.

  • Continuing Education 24.01 The Hospital and the Union recognize that continuing education is important for all employees and that they have shared interests and responsibilities in ensuring equitable access to it.

  • Resident Educator Program The four-year program is designed to provide newly licensed Ohio educators quality mentoring and guidance. Successful completion of the residency program is required to advance to a five-year professional educator license.

  • Dimensions Education Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. Experience: A minimum of 4 years of IT work experience in data modeling, data analysis, relational DBMS design and support and relevant computing environments.

  • Required Education (a) The Employer shall provide and fund any Employer required training/education for a Nurse.

  • *Experienced Educator An educator with Professional Teacher Status (PTS).
