Common use of Requesting Leave Clause in Contracts

Requesting Leave. Employees may request a leave of absence by presenting a written request to their immediate supervisor along with any supporting documentation. The decision to grant certain leaves of absences (such as for military service, jury duty, family medical leave and parental leave) is determined by state or federal law and according to the policies of the Employer. Leaves of absence shall not be constituted as a break in service. Employees on leave shall retain their seniority.
