Requests for Mutual Assistance. 2.1.3.1. NRAs agree to provide mutual assistance to other NRAs in the Implementation and Enforcement of the Revised AVMS Directive upon receipt of a request to do so in the manner specified in this sub-section. 2.1.3.2. Requesting NRAs may make requests for mutual assistance where: (a) an Implementation or Enforcement matter relating to the Revised AVMS Directive has arisen within the Requesting NRA’s jurisdiction or has affected residents of its jurisdiction; (b) the Requesting NRA has a Legitimate Interest in the resolution of the matter; (c) the mutual assistance requested is likely to materially benefit the furtherance of that Legitimate Interest; and (d) the Requesting NRA has reasonable grounds to believe the Receiving NRA will be able to assist in the resolution of the matter. 2.1.3.3. Requests for mutual assistance shall specify the form of mutual assistance requested from the Receiving NRA. The form of assistance requested shall be reasonable, and, without prejudice to the generality of the form it might take, may include: (a) Assistance in the enforcement of rules against a service provider; or (b) A request to provide practical assistance in some aspect of the implementation of the Revised AVMS Directive. 2.1.3.4. Requests for mutual assistance may relate to any field coordinated by the Revised AVMS Directive for which the Receiving NRA has jurisdiction within its Member State. For the avoidance of doubt, this may include, but is not limited to, the following Articles of the revised AVMS Directive: (a) Jurisdiction issues (Articles 2 and 28a); (b) Matters relating to freedom of reception and cases of circumvention (Articles 3 and 4); (c) Cases where cross-border harm might arise (including, without limitation, Articles 6, 6a, 9-11 and 19-24); (d) Matters relating to Accessibility (Article 7); (e) Matters relating to the implementation and enforcement of cross-border financial contributions (Article 13(2)) (See also specific cooperation arrangements envisaged in this MoU under sub-section 2.2.2.); or (f) Matters relating to the Implementation and Enforcement of Articles 28a and 28b (Video-Sharing Platform Services) (see also specific cooperation arrangements envisaged in this MoU under sub-section 2.2.1). NRAs may agree to cooperate on issues that fall outside of the scope of the fields co-ordinated by the Revised AVMS Directive for which the Receiving NRA has been assigned competency. 2.1.3.5.   • Requests for Assistance 1. Requests for assistance shall be made in writing, signed by the Chairman of the Requesting authority and addressed to the contact person of the Requested Authority listed in Annex A. 2. The Request should specify the following: a. a description of the subject matter of the request and the purpose for which the information is sought and the reasons why this information will be of assistance; b. a description of the specific information requested by the Requesting Authority; c. a description of the facts that constitute the grounds for the suspicion that the offence that is the subject of the request has been committed, and of the connection between these facts and the assistance requested; d. a short description of the relevant provisions that may have been violated and, if known to the Requesting Authority, a list of the persons or institutions believed by the Requesting Authority to possess the information sought or the places where such information may be obtained and the details that support this belief, to the best of the Requesting Authority’s knowledge; e. in so far as the request concerns information relating to transactions in specific securities • a description of the securities in question as precise as possible (including e.g. the securities code), • the names of those firms with whose dealings in the securities the Requesting Authority is concerned, • the dates between which transactions in the securities are considered relevant for the purposes of the request, • the names of any persons on whose behalf relevant transactions in the securities are believed or suspected to have been entered into; f. in so far as the request relates to information concerning the business or activities of any person, such precise information as the Requesting Authority is able to provide so as to enable such persons to be identified; g. an indication of the sensitivity of the information contained in the request and whether the Requesting Authority agrees that the request shall be disclosed to persons whom the Requested Authority may need to approach for information; h. whether the Requesting Authority is or has been in contact with any other authority or law enforcement agency in the State of the Requested Authority in relation to the subject matter of the request; i. any other securities authority of another state whom the Requesting Authority is aware has an active interest in the subject matter of the request; j. an indication of the urgency of the request, or the desired time period for the reply. x. a declaration that any information or document transferred to the Requesting authority pursuant to the request shall be used solely for the purpose for which it was delivered;

  • Mutual Assistance The Parties will do all things reasonably necessary or appropriate to carry out the terms and provisions of this Agreement and to aid and assist each other in carrying out such terms and provisions.

  • Legal Assistance The Board shall give full support including legal and other assistance for any assault upon the employee while properly acting in the discharge of his/her duties.

  • Technical Assistance DFPS may provide informal support, guidance, clarification, and other forms of technical assistance via phone, email, and virtual meeting to resolve Grant or performance compliance issues. Grantee will document all such instances of technical assistance by DFPS in writing, including any implementation work.

  • Educational Assistance Section 1. Tuition reimbursement shall be provided to employees covered by this collective bargaining AGREEMENT under the same terms and conditions, policies and procedures as the rest of Hennepin County and reflecting a county–wide pool for funding. See Hennepin County Tuition Reimbursement Policy Frequently Asked Questions Section 2. Where courses are required and certified by the appointing authority as essential to current job performance, such appointing authority shall grant 100% reimbursement for tuition, required fees and required study materials. Section 3. At the request of an employee, an Individual Development Plan shall be established. Any employee making the request shall be provided with paid time to work with their Supervisor or Human Resources to develop a training plan for career development within Hennepin County. Human Resources will be a source of career information, and postings, in which the employee may have an interest. Time allotted for this activity and the training plan adopted shall be subject to mutual agreement of the Employee and Supervisor.

  • Peer Assistance and Review (PAR) Consulting Teachers (CT) will be assigned to all new teachers with no prior teaching experience and tenured teachers rated ineffective on the qualitative measures at the end of the previous school year and recommended by the PAR Panel. Evaluations for Probationary and Ineffective Teachers:

  • Audit Assistance Each of the Parties and their respective Subsidiaries are or may be subject to regulation and audit by a Governmental Authority (including a Taxing Authority), standards organizations, customers or other parties to contracts with such Parties or their respective Subsidiaries under applicable Law, standards or contract provisions. If a Governmental Authority, standards organization, customer or other party to a contract with a Party or its Subsidiary exercises its right to examine or audit such Party’s or its Subsidiary’s books, records, documents or accounting practices and procedures pursuant to such applicable Law, standards or contract provisions, and such examination or audit relates to the Services, then the other Party shall provide, at the sole cost and expense of the requesting Party, all assistance reasonably requested by the Party that is subject to the examination or audit in responding to such examination or audits or requests for Information, to the extent that such assistance or Information is within the reasonable control of the cooperating Party and is related to the Services.

  • Directory Assistance 72.1 The Parties acknowledge that CenturyLink is not a Directory Assistance (DA) provider. CenturyLink provides directory listings information for its subscribers to third party DA providers to be included in the national and local databases used by such third party providers. The Parties agree that to the extent the DA provider contracted by CLEC for DA services to CLEC’s subscribers also populates the national DA database, then CLEC’s DA listings have been made available to CenturyLink’s subscribers and no further effort is needed by either Party. If for any reason, CLEC desires that CenturyLink act as a middleman conduit for the placement of CLEC’s DA listings in the DA database(s), then CenturyLink shall provide such compensable DA listings service pursuant to separate written terms and conditions between CenturyLink and CLEC which will be attached to this Agreement as an Amendment.

  • Tuition Assistance Bargaining unit employees can enroll in university or college, vocational technical school or extension courses. The course may be by correspondence or attendance at classes during non-working hours or during working hours with approval of the Agency Head and/or his/her Designee. Where practicable, in relation to work requirements, the Employer shall be liberal with the approval of requests for accrued/unused vacation leave, flex-time scheduling, compensatory time, or leave without pay for the purpose of enabling employees to attend classes conducted during an employee's regularly scheduled work hours.
