Required attendance before Federal, Superior and Justice Courts located within the County of San Diego. Immediately after the employee is dismissed from jury service the employee must report to their supervisor. Employees will be provided reasonable travel time depending on location of jury service and mode of transportation taken. If there would be two (2) or more hours left in the work shift by the time the employee would be able to report to work, the employee shall either report to work or request to use vacation or compensatory time off for the remainder of the day, with supervisor approval. If there are less than two (2) hours left in the work shift, employee can go home and report to the next regular shift and receive pay at regular rate of pay.
