Report to Work. Employees requested to report for work when a school or other facility is closed under this provision, or for emergency reasons such as snow removal, heating system repair, etc., during such condition shall be compensated at one and one-half (1-1/2) times their regular hourly rate of pay, for the hours they actually work.

Report to Work. 15.01 An employee who is scheduled to work and does not receive notice that there is no work available one hour prior to commencement of shift or is at home and is called in to work by the Company shall receive either five (5) hours pay at his regular rate or five (5) hours work at the applicable hourly rate, whichever is the greater. In no way does this provision apply to employees who report for their scheduled shift and are disciplined or terminated prior to the shift commencing. This article shall not apply where the Company is unable to contact the employee – unless the employee can show that they have previously tried to update their contact information with the Company.
Report to Work. Any employee who, at the time of initial employment, re- ports for work as directed and who is not in possession of the hand tools specified may be declared ineligible and the Employer has the right to refuse employment and shall not be required to pay “show-up” time.

In the event of delayed start or in cases where the announcement to delay or cancel school is made after the start of an employee’s work day, the employee shall be granted compensatory time (hour for hour) for the hours worked prior to the announcement of the delay or closure. These compensatory hours can be used in the following: one (1) hour late arrival or longer lunch on said day(s) or within the next five (5) working days with administrative approval of the schedule. An employee who had requested and been granted personal leave for a canceled day shall have the personal leave restored.

Any employee required to report to work by their supervisor, will receive one (l) additional personal leave day for each day worked in addition to their days regular rate of pay. If the District calls for a late student start time due to inclement weather, all employees are expected to report to work as safely and timely as possible. The District expects employees to use caution and report to their worksite close to their regular scheduled hours. In the event that an employee is unable to arrive safely on time, that employee should contact the employee's building principal or supervisor. Contacting your administrator/supervisor will provide the opportunity to offer support for assistance if needed.
Report to Work. 18 Each employee has the responsibility to make all reasonable efforts to notify the supervisor of 19 their inability to report to work. If an employee fails to show up at work and has failed to 20 contact the supervisor for five (5) consecutive workdays, that employee will be deemed to have 21 resigned or abandoned their employment with the District unless the failure to notify the 22 supervisor was due to circumstances beyond the employee’s control.

Report to Work. A: The employee shall be considered as being on the payroll when he/she reports to work and is unable to perform his/her regular duties due to circumstances beyond their control. The Employer will determine when circumstances are beyond an employee’s control, including, but not necessarily limited to, floods, severe weather, natural disasters, public emergencies, etc. When an employee is required to report to work, he/she shall be guaranteed a minimum of two (2) hours at the applicable rate of pay.
Report to Work. Employees will commence and complete their shift at the office of the Company, or any job site location that is within the Waterloo service area. Other than for daily commuting purposes, if employees are required to travel outside the regular hours of work; travel time will be paid at the applicable rate as per Article 6.03. The school lunch association members will report to work during Local and Regents examination days and early dismissal days. Members will report to their originally assigned duties and be prepared to work their regular hours unless otherwise instructed. Members could be assigned to other food service areas per the district needs.
