Required Verification. An employee who is absent because of illness shall be required to sign on a form provided (Form 60.82B) a statement that such absence was due to illness, injury, or quarantine. Such form must be approved for payment by the proper administrator. Payment for absence due to illness shall be made only upon certification by the Chancellor or his/her designated representative that such absence was for reason of illness or injury.

  • E-Verification If applicable, Contractor represents and warrants that it will ensure its compliance with the Mississippi Employment Protection Act of 2008, and will register and participate in the status verification system for all newly hired employees. Mississippi Code Annotated §§ 71-11-1 et seq. The term “employee” as used herein means any person that is hired to perform work within the State of Mississippi.
