RESIDENTIAL BOUNDARY. 7 16.1 Where appropriate, a department shall establish a call-in and standby 8 procedure and designate those classifications within the department in 9 which a timely response to certain conditions may be required in order to 10 protect the lives, safety, or property of citizens, customers, fellow 11 employees, or the City; to restore utility services or to minimize 12 environmental impacts. Employees in these classifications are subject to 13 call-in, may be required to serve standby and must live and maintain a 14 residence within the residential boundary allowing for drive time to the 15 intersection of NW 34 Street and NW 39 Avenue in Gainesville as set by the 16 individual department. This drive time cannot be set less than forty (40) 17 minutes, but may be more depending upon the needs of the department. A 18 copy of the designated classifications and the call-in and standby procedure 19 with the required residential boundary shall be submitted to the Human 20 Resources Department. When new classifications are designated, 21 employees in the classification at the time of designation shall not be 22 required to meet this residential boundary requirement, except as provided 23 in 16.7B. In no event shall the minimum drive time from the employee’s 24 residence to NW 34 Street and NW 39 Avenue in Gainesville be 25 required to be less than forty (40) minutes. 26 27 Note 1: All departments are not required to establish a residential 28 boundary requirement. 29 Note 2: Employees who live within Alachua County will automatically 30 be assumed to meet any residential boundary requirement.

  • PUBLIC WORKS AND BUILDING SERVICES CONTRACTS Work being done under a resulting Authorized User Agreement may be subject to the prevailing wage rate provisions of the New York State Labor Law. The Prevailing Wage Rates for various occupations and General Provisions of Laws Covering Workers on Article 8 Public Work Contract can be accessed at the following NYS Department of Labor website: xxxxx://xxxxxxxxxxxx.xxxxx.xx.xxx/wpp/xxxxXxxxXxxxxxx.xx?method=showIt  Insert PRC# 2014011745 in the box provided and click Submit.  Click Wage Schedule located underneath the main header of this page. The PDF file may be searched to obtain the Prevailing Wage Rate for a specific occupation. SHORT TERM EXTENSION In the event a replacement Contract has not been issued, any Contract let and awarded hereunder by the State, may be extended unilaterally by the State for an additional period of up to 3 months upon notice to the Contractor with the same terms and conditions as the original Contract including, but not limited to, prices and delivery requirements. With the concurrence of the Contractor, the extension may be for a period of up to 6 months in lieu of 3 months. However, this extension terminates should the replacement Contract be issued in the interim. PROCUREMENT INSTRUCTIONS Authorized Users should refer to the documents attached as Appendix G – Processes and Forms Templates for specific instructions on the usage of this Contract. OGS reserves the right to unilaterally make revisions, changes, additions and/or updates to the documents attached as Appendix G - Processes and Forms Templates without processing a formal amendment and/or modification. SPECIFICATIONS During the term of the Contract, the Authorized User may request Product specifications for particular items that have been included by the Contractor in its Pricing Pages. These specifications will be provided by the Contractor at no cost.

  • Use of State Facilities Resources and Equipment a. Meeting Space and Facilities. The Employer’s campuses and facilities may be used by the Union to hold meetings subject to the University’s policy and availability of the space. The Employer may provide private space for stewards and/or Union representatives to meet in confidence with those they represent on a space available basis. Staff representatives may reserve and utilize meeting rooms in accordance with University policy and procedure. Such requests will be subject to availability and all applicable fees.

  • Utility Easements 2.1 Some properties may at the discretion of the Developer be subject to easements in favour of suppliers of water, power, gas, telephone, internet and wastewater utilities and services, including SaskPower for location of a transformer and SaskTel. The Property Owner acknowledges that the location of any transformer and which lots will be affected by any such easements, will not be known until such utility and service providers complete their design work and the Developer has negotiated the terms and conditions thereof. The Property Owner further specifically acknowledges and agrees that the Property may be subject to any such easement, and that the same shall not affect or result in a decrease or abatement of the purchase price of the Property.

  • Conservation Easement School shall abide by the terms of the Easement, attached as Exhibit “D” and granted by the District to Authority. The Easement shall be recorded against the Subject Property by the Authority, at the Authority’s sole cost and expense. This Easement may be executed and recorded without further approval of the Parties’ governing bodies, except that approval is required to authorize the execution of this Agreement.

  • THE ACADEMY 2.1 The Company will establish and maintain, and carry on or provide for the carrying on of the Academy in accordance with the Master Agreement and this Agreement.

  • General Description of Land Use 3.3.1 The use(s) of the Lands permitted by this Agreement are the following:

  • Use of State Facilities Where there is available appropriate meeting space in buildings owned or leased by the State, MSEA-SEIU shall be allowed reasonable use of such space at reasonable times for specific meetings, including space suitable for meetings in private between MSEA-SEIU staff representatives or stewards and employees in the investigation and processing of grievances. In addition, in buildings owned or leased by the State that have video conferencing facilities, MSEA-SEIU may be allowed reasonable use of those facilities. Advance arrangements for the use of State facilities shall be made with the department or agency concerned. MSEA-SEIU shall reimburse the State for any additional expense incurred in allowing use of such space. No other employee organization, except such as have been certified or recognized as the bargaining agent for other State employees, shall have the right to meeting space in State facilities for purposes pertaining to terms and conditions of employment of employees. The use of State facilities for meetings shall be in non-work areas or where work is not in progress. Other than meetings in private between MSEA- SEIU staff representatives or stewards and employees in the investigation and processing of grievances, all meetings in State facilities shall be during the off- duty time of employees attending and, in all instances, attendance shall be voluntary. Arrangements for any meetings in State facilities will be made so as to avoid interference with the department's or agency's operations or violation of the department's or agency's security.
