The terms and conditions of all leaves of absence shall be set forth in writing. The Employer shall grant an automatic leave of absence, if so desired, not to exceed two (2) weeks, in cases of critical illness or injury or death in the employee's immediate family. Any period in excess of two (2) weeks shall require the written consent of the Employer. When possible, the employee shall request such leaves of absence; but in any event, the Employer shall be notified within twenty-four (24) hours.

Job Search The Employer should assist surplus staff to find alternative employment by allowing them a reasonable amount of time off work to attend job interviews without loss of pay. This is subject to the Employer being notified of the time and location of the interview before the employee is released to attend it.
Assigned Personnel The Contractor warrants that the personnel it will assign to perform the Products and Services under this Agreement shall possess the requisite education, competence and experience. The Contractor further acknowledges and agrees that such personnel may be subject to the evaluation and approval of the Authority, who shall retain the right to determine the sufficiency of the education, competence and experience of the personnel assigned to perform the Products and Services identified in Exhibit A attached and incorporated into this Agreement.
