JOB FAMILY. APPLICATIONS DEVELOPMENT‌
JOB FAMILY. If an employee has no bumping opportunity within the class series, then such employee shall have bumping rights within his/her division (if none, then within the department) against the least senior full-time employee holding a position in a lower class in the same job family if the laid-off employee previously served in the class and if he/she is presently qualified; however, no such bump may occur in the presence of an appropriate competitive eligible list unless, in accordance with Civil Service Commission Rules, the laid-off employee will have permanent status in the previous class. A "lower class" for purposes of this Subsection means any class which has a maximum rate of pay lower than the minimum rate of pay for the class of the laid-off employee.
JOB FAMILY. A job family is a category of positions that involve work in the same functional occupation and have related core knowledge and background requirements. Article 1 lists Title codes and job titles that are in the bargaining unit and make up the job families. The families link titles together. See Appendix J.
JOB FAMILY. Group of jobs or a single job within a Position.
JOB FAMILY. Two (2) or more job classifications requiring various degrees of skills, knowledge, and abilities of similar or related subject matter.
JOB FAMILYEmployees in the Paint Job Family perform basic tasks of preparation, removal and application of protective and decorative coats including but not limited to alodine, etch, primer, enamel and lacquer, on aircraft surfaces and components. In addition, they will be capable of working with related technical documents associated with their Job Family.

  • Death in Family At the request of the employee, the Employer may grant a leave of absence for other purposes. The terms and conditions of all leaves of absence shall be set forth in writing. The Employer shall grant an automatic leave of absence, if so desired, not to exceed two (2) weeks, in cases of critical illness or injury or death in the employee's immediate family. Any period in excess of two (2) weeks shall require the written consent of the Employer. When possible, the employee shall request such leaves of absence; but in any event, the Employer shall be notified within twenty-four (24) hours.

  • Children For the purposes of the Trust the children of the Grantor are as follows: _______________________________________________________________ ______________________________________________________________________

  • Job Search The Employer should assist surplus staff to find alternative employment by allowing them a reasonable amount of time off work to attend job interviews without loss of pay. This is subject to the Employer being notified of the time and location of the interview before the employee is released to attend it.

  • Assigned Personnel The Contractor warrants that the personnel it will assign to perform the Products and Services under this Agreement shall possess the requisite education, competence and experience. The Contractor further acknowledges and agrees that such personnel may be subject to the evaluation and approval of the Authority, who shall retain the right to determine the sufficiency of the education, competence and experience of the personnel assigned to perform the Products and Services identified in Exhibit A attached and incorporated into this Agreement.
