JOB FAMILY. APPLICATIONS DEVELOPMENT
JOB FAMILY. If an employee has no bumping opportunity within the class series, then such employee shall have bumping rights within his/her division (if none, then within the department) against the least senior full-time employee holding a position in a lower class in the same job family if the laid-off employee previously served in the class and if he/she is presently qualified; however, no such bump may occur in the presence of an appropriate competitive eligible list unless, in accordance with Civil Service Commission Rules, the laid-off employee will have permanent status in the previous class. A "lower class" for purposes of this Subsection means any class which has a maximum rate of pay lower than the minimum rate of pay for the class of the laid-off employee.
JOB FAMILY. A Job Family is a group of jobs that are related because of similar job content, skill requirements, and/or career paths.
JOB FAMILY. Employees in the Paint Job Family perform basic tasks of preparation, removal and application of protective and decorative coats including but not limited to alodine, etch, primer, enamel and lacquer, on aircraft surfaces and components. In addition, they will be capable of working with related technical documents associated with their Job Family.
JOB FAMILY. Group of jobs or a single job within a Position.
JOB FAMILY. Two (2) or more job classifications requiring various degrees of skills, knowledge, and abilities of similar or related subject matter.
