The Human Resources department will prepare a seniority list showing the seniority of all employees in the bargaining unit. This list will be updated at least annually.
The Human Resources. Department shall notify the appropriate Department Head, the Union, and the incumbent(s) of the job of any changes in Classification resulting from job evaluation. The Union members of the Committee and any alternates appointed by the Union shall be granted leave of absence with pay and without loss of seniority for periods of time spent working on the Committee as approved by the Commissioner of Human Resources. These members shall continue to have all the rights and privileges of the Collective Agreement.
The Human Resources. Department shall update the vacancy list which shall be made available to voluntary transfer applicants and Talent Pool Teachers. The District shall promptly provide alerts as new vacancies occur.
The Human Resources. Department agrees to acquaint new Employees in the Bargaining Unit with the fact that a Collective Agreement is in effect and to provide such Employee with a copy of this Collective Agreement as well as additional Union materials as provided by CUPE and approved by the Employer at the time of their hiring.
The Human Resources. Department Director's decision shall be final and binding, and not subject to further appeal.
The Human Resources. Department Head may authorize compensation to a Unit member for using bilingual skills during the course of work upon receipt of a written justification from the City Manager, their Director, the City Clerk or the City Treasurer, as applicable.
The Human Resources. Department will maintain a list of certificated personnel containing areas of certification and length of service for research purposes. Upon reasonable justification, employees may review this information.
The Human Resources. Department shall provide the Federation on the eighth (8th) day of each month the following information:
a. Names and current addresses of all Faculty to include new Faculty
b. The amount being deducted and identification of the Appendix form executed.
c. Names and current addresses of any Faculty from whom deductions are not being taken.
The Human Resources. Department shall maintain a list of unit members interested in a job sharing assignment. A copy of the job share list shall be provided to a unit member upon request.
The Human Resources. People Department will reply to all requests for a reference directed to it regarding your employment. The response to such request shall be limited to a statement of the dates of your employment and your position with the Company, or words to that effect and if requested by you, verification of your salary.
