Returns from Leaves of Absence. An employee on approved leave of absence who returns to the active payroll will have the following base rate: (1) If the leave of absence was granted due to industrial injury or industrial illness, military service, or to accept a full-time Union position, the employee's base rate will be equal to the base rate he would have had if he had not been on a leave of absence.
