Shifts; Lunch Periods; Rest Periods. Each employee shall be assigned to a definite shift with designated times of beginning and ending. All shifts shall be an eight (8) hour and thirty (30) minute period, which shall include a thirty (30) minute unpaid lunch period. The designated times of beginning each shift during the scheduled workweek shall be: first shift - between 5:00 A.M. and 8:30 A.M.; second shift - between 1:30 P.M. and 6:00 P.M.; third shift - between 10:00 P.M. and 1:30 A.M. of the following day. Each employee shall be given a fifteen (15)-minute rest period in each half of the shift to which he is assigned, the time of starting each such rest period to be designated by the Company. Each employee who is required to report for work two (2) or more hours prior to the start of his regular shift shall receive a ten (10)-minute rest period prior to the start of his regular shift.   • Rest Periods Employees working a full shift will receive one rest period of fifteen (15) minutes in each half of the shift. Employees working less than a full shift, but a minimum of four (4) hours will receive one fifteen (15) minute rest period.

  • Paid Rest Periods All Employees shall be given a paid rest period of fifteen (15) minutes in the first and second half of their daily shift in an area made available by the Employer. If mutually agreed to between the parties, the two (2) rest periods shall be combined.

  • Meal Periods and Rest Periods (a) Regular hours of work shall include, as scheduled by the Employer, two (2) rest periods of fifteen (15) minutes during each shift of seven and three- quarter (7 3/4) hours and exclude an unpaid meal period of not less than thirty (30) minutes.

  • Overtime Rest Periods If an employee is assigned one (1) or more hours of overtime work contiguous to his/her regular workshift or is called back within one (1) hour of his/her scheduled quitting time, the Agency will provide a fifteen (15) minute rest period after two (2) hours of overtime completed.

Employees will be allowed rest periods of fifteen (15) minutes for each one-half (1/2) shift of four (4) or more hours worked at or near the middle of each one-half (1/2) shift of four (4) or more hours. Rest periods do not require relief from duty. Rest periods may not be used for late arrival or early departure from work and rest and meal periods will not be combined.

  • Interest Periods In connection with each LIBOR Rate Loan, the Borrower, by giving notice at the times described in Section 3.1(a), shall elect an interest period (each, an "Interest Period") to be applicable to such Loan, which Interest Period shall be a period of one (1), two (2), three (3) or six (6) months with respect to each LIBOR Rate Loan; provided that:
