Review Operating Division Management and Operator Staffing. The Contractor shall leverage its experience in quickly organizing the data collection in the context of information systems that differ from transit system to system. The Contractor shall assemble probative data that sheds light on the underlying economics of operator labor and the stochastic nature of dispatching decisions. The Contractor shall focus on the following questions: • Is the system’s ultimate pension liability increased more by hiring additional personnel or by paying senior operators more overtime? • Is workers’ compensation expense dependent entirely on the number of vehicle hours operated (and the duration of exposure to injury) or is it also affected by the number of operators employed to work those hours, thus correlating exposure with the size of the work force? • What is the variability in operator attendance: are there large swings based on common activities, weather and health trends, or is the overall attendance level predictable based on historical patterns and known events? The Contractor shall work closely with the City to accomplish the following tasks: 5.3.1: Develop Overall Operating Division Management Understanding 5.3.2: Compare Peer Best Practices 5.3.3: Review and Evaluate Division Activities 5.3.4: Evaluate Strategies, Policies, and Procedures and Recommend Improvement

  • STANDARDS OF MANAGEMENT AND OPERATIONS In performing its obligations hereunder, during the term of this ESA, the Competitive Supplier shall exercise reasonable care to assure that its facilities are prudently and efficiently managed; that it employs an adequate number of competently trained and experienced personnel to carry out its responsibilities; that it delivers or arranges to deliver a safe and reliable supply of such amounts of electricity to the Point of Delivery as are required under this ESA; that it complies with all relevant industry standards and practices for the supply of electricity to Participating Consumers; and that, at all times with respect to Participating Consumers, it exercises good practice for a Competitive Supplier and employs Commercially Reasonable skills, systems and methods available to it.

  • Union Management Relations Any changes deemed necessary in this Agreement may be made by mutual agreement of the parties at any time during the life of this Agreement.

  • Staffing There shall be a clinician employed by the outside contractor for EAP Services who will be on-site a minimum of 20 hours a week. The clinician shall report directly to the outside contractor, Peer Assistance Oversight Committee and the MIF liaison. There shall be three full-time Peer Assistants reporting to the outside contractor.

  • Communications and Operations Management a. Network Penetration Testing - DST shall, on approximately an annual basis, contract with an independent third party to conduct a network penetration test on its network having access to or holding or containing Fund Data. DST shall have a process to review and evaluate high risk findings resulting from this testing.

  • Management Grievance The Employer may initiate a grievance at Step 3 of the grievance procedure by the Employer or designate presenting the grievance to the President of the Union or designate. Time limits and process are identical to a union grievance.

  • Enterprise Information Management Standards Grantee shall conform to HHS standards for data management as described by the policies of the HHS Office of Data, Analytics, and Performance. These include, but are not limited to, standards for documentation and communication of data models, metadata, and other data definition methods that are required by HHS for ongoing data governance, strategic portfolio analysis, interoperability planning, and valuation of HHS System data assets.

  • Construction Management Services a. A-E may be required to review and recommend approval of submittals, shop drawings, Request for Information (RFI) and/or calculations for temporary structures such as trench shoring, false work and other temporary structural forms. b. A-E may be required to review and advise the County Representative on the overall project schedule, including staging and completion dates, duration, milestones, and interfaces. Immediately notify Representative if the proposed work schedule does not conform to the contract documents, including the plans, specifications, and permits or that may require special inspection or testing, or work stoppage. c. Review on a monthly basis the project schedule and/or Critical Path Method (CPM) schedule submitted by the Construction Contractor. Make recommendations concerning the Construction Contractor’s adherence thereto. Recommend possible solutions to scheduling problems so as to complete the project on time, within budget, and in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications. d. Review scope of work and identify potential contract change orders. Prepare independent cost estimates for any changes resulting from design revisions or change in field conditions. Prepare and recommend for approval all contract change orders. e. Evaluate the merit of any potential claims or requests for equitable adjustment submitted by the Construction Contractor. Prepare analysis of potential claims include recommendations regarding settlement of the claims. f. Assist County staff in project related issues with other Agencies, or departments, engineering and material testing support firms, CEQA consultants, utilities agencies, etc. g. Assist in community outreach meetings and media relations h. Review for acceptance/approval of Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) in accordance with the general Permit of Discharges of Storm Water Associated with Construction Activity (Construction General Permit, including dewatering/diversion plans per the State’s DeMinimus Permit).
