Role of Seniority in Layoffs. In the event of a layoff, employees shall be laid off in the reverse order of their community-based seniority, provided that the remaining staff possess the qualifications required in their respective positions. Employees may remain on a recall list for a maximum of twelve (12) months.

The Employer shall give regular employees 20 working days advance notice in writing of their community-based seniority, provided that the remaining staff possess the qualifications required in their respective positions. Employees may remain on a recall list for a maximum of twelve (12) monthslayoff.
