Common use of Rostered Days Off (RDO Clause in Contracts

Rostered Days Off (RDO. a) Working hours will be arranged on a system that provides for an employee to accrue two rostered days off over a four calendar week work cycle. This will be done by the employee working 40 ordinary hours each week, being paid 36 hours ordinary pay and accruing four hours ordinary pay towards a RDO. This enables an employee to accrue two RDO’s per four week work cycle. b) Accrued RDO’s may be taken concurrently with R&R leave provided that should an employee's services on the project be terminated with any such accrual not taken, the employee shall be given payment in lieu of that accrual.
