Salary Increment. (1) Staff are eligible for a performance-based salary review on the focal date of October each year. The quantum and rate of salary increase will be paid effective 1st October of each year and be based on individual staff’s performance. The total wage increase comprises two components: through an increase to base salary or to MVP or to both components. Poor performers, whose performance and behaviour are below job requirements, will not be eligible for any salary increase in the year declared. (2) The Hospital and the Union will negotiate the total wage increases for the year to be paid annually on 1st October each year. (3) New staff who have completed 12 months of service as at 1st October shall receive the salary increase in full. The salary increase shall be pro-rated based on the completed months of service for new staff with less than 12 months of service as at 1st October. (4) Staff who join in the month of September are not eligible for the salary increase for that year. (5) For computation of salary increase, an incomplete month of service of 15 and more calendar days shall be considered as 1 full month.
