Furloughs Appointing officers are encouraged to furlough entire operational units within departments rather than individual employees; or stagger work hours within an operational unit on a reduced hours basis. The decision of the appointing officer to impose furloughs under this subsection, and the appointing officer's determination of what constitutes an operational unit, shall be final. Where, in the discretion of the appointing officer, furlough of an operational unit as prescribed above is not feasible, individual employees within an operational unit may be furloughed. To the extent practicable, furlough shall be equitably distributed among all of the employees in the affected department or operational unit to which the Projected Deficit Notice (PDN) has application; and, all of the employees in the affected class(es). In determining which employees to furlough, an appointing officer shall consider citywide seniority within a class as well as considering the operational needs of the department. In no event shall furlough be imposed upon an employee for more than four days in any three month period or ten days in any fiscal year. Voluntary time off not to exceed a total of five days per quarter or ten days per year, approved pursuant to this section, shall be credited toward the maximum number of furlough days which may be imposed pursuant to this provision. Employees placed on furlough pursuant to this section shall be notified in writing at least 15 calendar days in advance of the effective date for the furlough. The decision to furlough an individual employee within an operational unit shall be final except that an employee given notice of a furlough, which taken together with an employee's prior furloughs in the same fiscal year would exceed five working days within any six month period, may file an appeal. Such appeals must be in writing and filed within three calendar days of the date of the notice of furlough with the Human Resources Director with a copy to the appointing officer. Within three calendar days after receiving the appeal, the Department of Human Resources shall refer the written appeal and the appointing officer's written comments, if any, for determination to the Human Resources Director, the Mayor and the Controller, or their designees, who shall meet on no less than 24 hours public notice. The determination regarding the appeal shall be rendered within seven calendar days of the date of the appeal. This decision is final and shall not be reconsidered by the Civil Service Commission. The Human Resources Director shall notify the employee and the appointing officer of the decision prior to the effective date of the furlough.
Moving a. You must give us at least forty-five (45) days’ advance notice before you move and tell us your new address. If the new location is within a territory we serve, we will amend this Contract to apply to your new location. Any interruption in supply of Energy or services caused by your failure to give us forty-five (45) days’ notice and any additional costs we incur in serving the new location will be your responsibility. b. If you move out of Alberta or to a territory we do not serve, then on the date of your move, this Contract will end without liability to either of us. c. If we cannot supply electricity to your new location for any other reason (including that a third party supplies you with electricity), this Contract, as it applies to electricity will end and we may charge you the Early Exit Fee.
Travel Expense Any EMPLOYEE who must use his personal automobile or otherwise provide his own transportation when on school district business shall be reimbursed by the BOARD according to the amount established by current BOARD policy.
Furniture During the Term, at no charge to Subtenant, Subtenant shall be permitted to use the remaining existing modular and office furniture located in the Subleased Premises and described in more particular detail in Exhibit C attached hereto (the “Office Furniture”) as well as all equipment and associated data cabling existing in the Subleased Premises (the Office Furniture together with any equipment and data cabling, being referred to collectively as the “Furniture”). Subtenant shall accept the Furniture in its current condition without any warranty of fitness from Sublandlord (Subtenant expressly acknowledges that no warranty is made by Sublandlord with respect to the condition of any cabling currently located in or serving the Subleased Premises or with respect to the fitness of such cabling for Subtenant’s intend use thereof). For purposes of documenting the current condition of the Office Furniture, Subtenant and Sublandlord shall, within ten (10) days after Sublandlord’s receipt of the Furniture Notice, conduct a joint walk-through of the Subleased Premises in order to inventory items of damage or disrepair. Subtenant shall use the Furniture only for the purposes for which such Furniture is intended and shall be responsible for the proper maintenance, insurance, care and repair of the Furniture, at Subtenant’s sole cost and expense. Subtenant shall not modify, reconfigure or relocate any of the Furniture except with the advance written notice to Sublandlord, and any work of modifying any Furniture (including, without limitation, changing the configuration of, “breaking down” or reassembly of cubicles or other modular furniture) shall be performed at Subtenant’s sole cost. No item of Furniture shall be removed from the Subleased Premises without Sublandlord’s prior written consent.
Capital Equipment Collaborator’s commitment, if any, to provide ICD with capital equipment to enable the research and development activities under the Research Plan appears in Appendix B. If Collaborator transfers to ICD the capital equipment or provides funds for ICD to purchase it, then ICD will own the equipment. If Collaborator loans capital equipment to ICD for use during the CRADA, Collaborator will be responsible for paying all costs and fees associated with the transport, installation, maintenance, repair, removal, or disposal of the equipment, and ICD will not be liable for any damage to the equipment.
PPE The proper personal protective equipment including goggles, face xxxxxxx, disposable gloves, N95/K95 masks or face coverings must be worn that is appropriate for the situation and task at hand while complying with industry, local, state and federal guidance. Please do not share PPE equipment. Any person that must enter an occupied unit is required to wear a N95/K95 and face shield or goggles and gloves. Anyone in a public area of a MPHA facility must wear a face covering/mask. Ensure used PPE is disposed of properly.
WORK CLOTHING Two sets of cotton drill protective clothing will be issued to all employees, upon request, within two weeks of commencing work with the Company. Employees will be made aware of these entitlements at the time of employment. A set of clothing will consist of either: • Two pairs of overalls; or • Two combination bib and brace; or • Two pairs of long trousers and two long sleeved shirt; or • Work denims at cost no greater than the above three choices • Clothing and footwear will be replaced on a fair wear and tear basis.
Items All bid items are to be NEW and of most current production, unless otherwise specified.
Tooling Unless otherwise specified in this Agreement, all tooling and/or all other articles required for the performance hereof shall be furnished by Seller, maintained in good condition and replaced when necessary at Seller's expense. If NETAPP agrees to pay Seller for special tooling or other items either separately or as a stated part of the unit price of Goods purchased herein, title to same shall be and remain in NETAPP upon payment therefore.
Interview Expenses An in-service applicant for a posted position who is not on leave of absence without pay and who has been called for a panel interview shall be granted leave of absence with base pay and shall have their authorized expenses paid. An employee granted leave under this section shall notify their supervisor as soon as they are notified of their requirement to appear for an interview.
