Saving Documents. Employees and students must save all documents to the network but shall not save any applications to the network without the document in a user directory or be will be deleted. (Exception is given where individuals have created applications as part of a curriculum authorization described herein below. Due to server storage limitations, any applications or executables residing assignment and such activity has been approved by a member of the USD 298 Lincoln IT Personnel.)

Saving Documents. Since the iPads are shared devices, saving directly to the iPad will generally be discouraged. Students will be instructed to set up a “cloud” account to which they may store files at a later date. Responsibilities of the Student • Any error or problem with the iPad should be reported to the instructor or school personal as soon as possible. This will allow school personnel to address the issue as well as prevent confusion if the malfunction is deemed to be due to malicious user behavior. • Students must perform the following upkeep every time they use the iPad: • Clean the screen, as needed, by using a soft, lint -free cleaning cloth. Do NOT use spray cleaners, tissues, or paper towels. • Make sure hands are clean prior to handling the iPad. • Keep iPads away from food and drink. • Ensure the iPad is properly plugged in and charging after use. (Report unplugged iPads prior to use immediately.)
Saving Documents. All documents (Word, Excel, PDF, iWorks, etc) should not be saved with a label using a clients identifying information (i.e. Name, birthdate, social security number, address, etc).
