Common use of Schedule of Hours Clause in Contracts

Schedule of Hours. A. The normal schedule of hours for regular full-time employees shall consist of eight (8) consecutive hours of work, five (5) consecutive days per week during the regular school year, which shall be paid as follows: The initial forty (40) hours is paid at the employee’s straight time hourly rate. Any time worked after the initial forty (40) hours will be paid at time and a half. B. Employees are required by the EMPLOYER to remain on the school premises, on call for work assignments, during their lunch period. This eight (8) hour period shall not include such lunch period; provided, however, such employees shall be permitted a reasonable amount of time, not to exceed fifteen (15) minutes, to eat their lunches on the premises.
