Schedule of Hours. The normal schedule of hours shall consist of twenty-four (24) hours per day, forty-eight (48) hours per week, except for those assigned by the Director of Aviation to duty of eight (8) consecutive hours per day, five (5) days per week for purposes of training or special assignment. For those employees working a forty-eight (48) hour schedule, seventeen (17) or eighteen (18) twenty-four (24) hour tours of duty off will be granted during a calendar year, according to the FLSA cycle.
Schedule of Hours. A. The normal schedule of hours for regular full-time employees shall consist of eight (8) consecutive hours of work, five (5) consecutive days per week during the regular school year, which shall be paid as follows: The initial forty (40) hours is paid at the employee’s straight time hourly rate. Any time worked after the initial forty (40) hours will be paid at time and a half.
B. Employees are required by the EMPLOYER to remain on the school premises, on call for work assignments, during their lunch period. This eight (8) hour period shall not include such lunch period; provided, however, such employees shall be permitted a reasonable amount of time, not to exceed fifteen (15) minutes, to eat their lunches on the premises.
Schedule of Hours. (a) The manpower schedule of hours to be worked each week shall be posted by 12:00 noon on Thursday of the previous week for the following week. The scheduling shall provide for at least twelve (12) hours elapsed time between the completion of any employee's shift and the commencement of his next shift, except when an employee is scheduled to change from one (1) group of consecutive shifts to another, in which case the elapsed time may be reduced to eight (8) hours.
Schedule of Hours. The normal schedule of hours for employees in the bargaining unit shall consist of eight (8) consecutive hours per day, five (5) consecutive days per week, Monday through Friday, unless waived by the employee. The normal schedule of hours for employees entering the bargaining unit after June 1, 1987 shall consist of eight (8) consecutive hours per day, five (5) consecutive days per week.
Schedule of Hours. The scheduling of the hours of work is the responsibility of the Employer, subject to Article 11.01 "Full-time Daily, Weekly and Annual Hours". However, the Employer agrees to consult with the employee, with a viewpoint of trying to arrive at a mutually acceptable schedule of hours. Notwithstanding the schedule of hours set forth, the Supervisor may approve variable hours as may be mutually agreeable with the employee. However, such arrangements must be carried out only within reasonable limits.
Schedule of Hours. The normal schedule of hours shall consist of eight (8) consecutive hours per day, five (5) consecutive days per week, Monday through Friday, during the period starting 12:01 a.m., Monday to midnight Sunday, except where there is a continuous twenty-four hour per day operation or where there is a continuous seven (7) days a week operation made necessary because of the nature of the work. A normal schedule of hours consisting of ten (10) consecutive hours per day, four (4) consecutive days per week, may be implemented as to certain employees after consultation and with the approval of the Union and subject to periodic evaluation at intervals of six (6) months by Management and the Union. Employees following a ten (10) hour work day schedule will be debited hour-for-hour (e.g., ten (10) hours for a normal workday) for time taken off for vacation leave, sick leave, personal leave and/or funeral leave. The Dayton Convention Center and the Department of Recreation & Youth Services (applying to Golf & the Recreation Centers only) shall be deemed to be continuous twenty-four (24) hour/seven (7) days a week operation pursuant to this Agreement. Management will schedule its employees hours of work in those departments as needed; provided that, the employees normal schedule of hours shall consist of eight (8) consecutive hours per day, five consecutive days per week. The employees will be provided two (2) consecutive days off during the week. The employees’ work schedule will be based upon City wide seniority. An employee will be allowed to shift into a different work schedule twice in any calendar year, provided that a different work schedule is available within the affected job classification of the employee, and the alternate schedule is available within their division. Management will provide an employee at least two (2) weeks written notice before shifting and/or altering their existing work schedule based on City wide seniority. Management will be limited to three (3) annual schedule changes during a calendar year for all operations. A return to your regularly scheduled shift shall not be considered a schedule change for the purpose of this calculation. This schedule change language will not affect Water Department employees assigned to maintenance.
Schedule of Hours. Normally scheduled hours for continuous shifts shall be on the basis of forty-two (42) hours per week, average, twelve hours per day. Current hours of work for twelve (12) hour shift employees will be: First shift 7:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. Second shift 7:30 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. Steady Day Workers: (40 hour) Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Intermittent Shift "A" – Warehouse (40 hour) Monday to Friday Day Shift: 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Afternoon Shift: 3:30 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. Intermittent Shift "B" - Warehouse (40 hour) Monday to Friday Day Shift: 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Afternoon Shift: 3:30 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. Night Shift: 11:30 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. Normally scheduled hours will be posted for day, intermittent and continuous shift workers. Whenever practicable, employees shall be given at least twenty-four (24) hours notice of any change in shifts or hours. It is understood that the foregoing provisions shall not constitute a guarantee of hours of work per day or of days of work per week, nor shall these schedules be arbitrarily modified for the purpose of avoiding the payment of overtime.
Schedule of Hours. The hours of employment for all employees covered by this Agreement shall be from 7:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., Monday through Saturday within the forty (40) hour work week.

Schedule of Hours. The shift shall start between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. or 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. The shift will include a one-half (1/2) hour of paid lunch period per shift. Starting time will be designated by the Employer, the Union will be advised of the starting time.
Schedule of Hours. 7.01 A regular work week shall not exceed forty (40) hours - Monday to Friday inclusive, with ½ hour for lunch. On a voluntary basis, the employee may elect to work 44 hours per week at straight time. All such requests shall be in writing and signed by the employee.
7.02 All work done during periods other than herein before provided shall be overtime work and shall be paid for whether time-work or piece-work at the rate of time-and- one-half for hourly rated workers and time-and-one-half of average hourly earnings for piece-workers.
7.03 Overtime work will not be scheduled when notice of a Union meeting has been given to the Company.
7.04 Unless otherwise notified, when a worker reports for work and there is no regular work available, the worker is guaranteed four (4) hours of other work, which he must accept at his or her average rate of pay or four (4) hours pay, excepting where cause of failure to provide work has occurred due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Company.
7.05 Workers are to be compensated while waiting for work when asked to wait or when the Company fails to provide work during working hours or waiting as a result or machine failure, at his or her average rate, unless the failure is due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Company.
7.06 In a slack period when there is not sufficient work for all employees, the available work shall be divided as equally as possible among all employees. If the majority of employees work twenty-four (24) hours a week or less for two (2) consecutive weeks, in the third (3rd) week of short working time, employees will be laid off by plant seniority provided that the remaining employees are competent to do the available work based on normal requirements of the job.
